Well, the H3 is really great off-road if you get the adventure package. It sure beat the hell out of those stupid Toyota FJ things. It won the Baja 1000 a few times in a row, even with the stock Inline-5. It could beat a Dodge Ram with a Hemi in it so I'm pretty sure It can beat this too.

Ever have traction control kick in? It sucks. Subaru has a simple, mechanical, streamlined AWD system that was designed from the ground up. Watch some Subaru AWD vs. videos and see for yourself. It's too pretty to take off road for the first 5 years of it's life, which you know in this neck of the woods means the salt will have it rusted through before it's prime.
PS You won't put this down on the flat any more than you would a VSC built STI, when you're jumping the size Pastrana did. Of course it's got me beat in a real off road scenario but forget it on a dirt road and definitely forget it on a paved one.

And on a side note, I had a Jeep CJ7 Laredo motherfuckers, and I know for a fact that my H3 could obliterate it off road. Just face it, Slowpar faggots, Chrysler vehicles are slow, bad on gas, break easily, don't last as long as advertised, not up to par with competitors, ugly, overrated, and worst of all, have to buy car ideas from Japanese corporations like Mitsubishi.

@Rsimon859 You're handicapped! The Baja??? Those are hardly production vehicles. The ENTIRE vehicle is custom fabricated. The manufacturers only pick up part of the check for the build cost. So I guess you're comparing vinyl stickers...hockey puck. Well I guess I am biased. I've owned Jeeps and Rovers and I go offroading a lot. I can tell you I RARELY see "Hummers" There is a reason for that. I'll give credit where it's due...but c'mon You wittle H3 is a far cry from the vehicle it once was.

I like this truck, but I always wondered why Ford never capitalized on the popularity of their Powerstroke by creating a line of Powerstrokes. A four, and a v-6 diesel to go in their Escape, Explorer, and the F150 line.
Oh, well, at least if you are buying a Ford, you aren't buying a vehicle made by ObaMao, like you are with GM, and Chrysler.

Nice truck. I just don't like two things about it. #1 I would want the front end to have the "Ford" symbol on it. #2 The gear selector is in the center, instead of the steering column. It looks better up there, if you ask me.

Let me break it down for you.hendrick cars (and others, like haas/cnc) use chevy R07.roush and yates team cars use ford engines built and tuned by roush-yates
penske uses dodge engines
gibbs cars use engines toyota provides (in parts), then puts them together and tune them themselves
So to say they have the same engine makes no since.
Its how good there built. Couple races.lol.

GMC/Chevy falls apart my 2008 sierra has lost everything on it first 13 months i had it she spend 6 in the shop transmission and ecm were among the first things to go had the truck for a year and a half of a 3 yr lease now so fed up i bought a brand new raptor never again will i get anything under chevy, no good fer nuttin but shop time

maybe ford should try engineering a few cars for the general public that can compete with Toyota and Subaru in terms of longevity, quality, and overall performance, before they bring matchbox cars to life. This is the last thing any American automaker should be focusing on at a time like this, what an embarrassment. This is a completely impractical toy vehicle, with a very small target market, what a waste of resources.

Save it. The incredible Japanese longevity is a falacy perpetuated by people like yourself. I used to buy Toyota and to be frank, their Tacoma was built "light" compared to a Ranger. They do run for a long time, but they are no better than a maintained GM or Ford. I just read that the Ford Fusion parallels or beats Honda in quality......Your rant is outdated.

Ever have traction control kick in? It sucks. Subaru has a simple, mechanical, streamlined AWD system that was designed from the ground up. Watch some Subaru AWD vs. videos and see for yourself. My point being I can't get that from an American automaker so I'll go elsewhere, along with the hundreds of thousands of other customers they're losing by not even bothering to compete.

I'm not saying the Raptor isn't sweet, I'm a big fan of trophy trucks, the Hilux, etc and I dig it, but most people won't put this to real use. It's too pretty to take off road for the first 5 years of it's life, which you know in this neck of the woods means the salt will have it rusted through before it's prime.
