@deezynar. All up, the parts cost around AUD$120, which is about $135US.. The most expensive parts were the LED's, optics and batteries.
If I was to make it again I would use different components. However the price would be around the same but with an extended run time and brighter lights.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to look into making one for myself. Ready-made systems are way too expensive.
