saw this at rainbow stage in winnipeg, and it was way better. except the beast. he didnt look like he did in the movie... he we way too small and catlike instead of large and terrifying!
The camera work is really good. I couldn't make myself like the Belle though. Not my favorite. They have some new girls now that do a marvelous job. I like the new Gaston as well. I guess I just didn't like that time period in casting. This was about a year ago or so if I'm right. I'm not quite sure.
The "live" audio sounds so bad (muffled, crowd noises, echoey) that I replaced as much as I could with the "source recording" to create a better VIDEO PRESENTATION.
If I was doing this as a DOCUMENTARY, I would have only used the "live" audio.
The reason it switches is that the studio-recorded track that I have is quite a bit different than the version of the show that they now perform.
WHERE DID YOU GET THIS???!!! OMG this is proffesional press footage type!! Did you film this???

-Thanks for your kind words about my camera work.
-We like to see this show often, mainly to see which CM's play the leads. Over our many visits, we have seen some amazing CMs in this show!
Everyone has their favs.

Why does the music go back and forth from a live feed to a pre-recorded track?

If memory serves me right, that's David Ogden Stiers doing the Prologue (he's dead, if memory serves me right there as well).
gameshowguy2000 4 years ago
No, David Ogden Stiers is very much alive.
Sadly, it is the wonderful Jerry Orbach (of TV's Law and Order)
who voices Lumiere, the candlestick who has passed away.
videorobo 4 years ago
Gotcha. I recognized his voice from the movie (and the prologue there is almost similar).
gameshowguy2000 4 years ago
And it IS David Ogden Stiers who voices Cogsworth the clock AND the Prologue.
Jerry Orbach just voiced Lumiere.
