pound in Perivale earlier today. i didn't mind - it wasn't my money........ LOL

  • does anyone recognise where that is, i tought it was regent street?

  • @ddbd

It looks like Waterloo Place which is at the bottom of (Lower) Regent Street

  • this rover 2600 was scrapped in 1991

  • back when the police used good cars

  • The late, great Jeremy Beadle!

    5 stars from me!

  • I wonder how clamping an emergency vehicle would go down today? At least it wasn't an ambulance...

  • Hmm. I wonder how clamping an emergency vehicle would be perceived today? At least it wasn't an ambulance...

  • pay 30 pounds to release the clamp, 1984 i guess lol

  • It takes some nerve to wear on national TV a cardigan which instantly makes you look 20 years older than you actually are, but Mr Stapleton carries it off in style.

  • The police really ended up with 'egg on their faces' there didn't they?

  • YOU GOTTA hand it to him...

  • Read the title and could not resist! XD

    Not disappointed either.

    Oh such sweet irony XD

    RIP Jeremy Beadle

  • JB's wife has requested that his ashes are spread on his beloved North London allotment. ITV have already expressed an interest in a new series....Watch Out, Beadle's A Sprout!

RIP Jeremy....one of the good guys.

(& before you all start, I knew him...he would love all the jokes about him!)

  • Hey 'IdleAl' - that Beadle's-a-Sprout joke is Groucho Marx-ishly funny.

I didnt know till after he died, that Beadle's work for many charities raised millions and millions of pounds for them.

    God bless him.

  • Anyone know what part of London this is?

  • It's Waterloo Place at the junction with Pall Mall.... if you carry on up the road, you get to Piccadilly Circus

  • I remember the first time I saw J-B on TV. He presented a show on BBC2 called "The Deceivers" and in the final episode he tore off his (fake) beard. Sadly the clip above will probably be derided by todays cynical society. However, nobody can refute that he left his mark on TV, albeit a small one.
