I really enjoyed both seed and seed destiny. Seed was solid, but Seed Destiny was... interesting. I enjoyed the new characters like Shinn, Rei, and Lunamaria, but felt that the returning characters had little to no value in the story, and were just tacked on for marketing. It wasn't until later in the show that situation had reversed, and the returning characters took over, and left the new characters to rot. Well that's my opinion anyway.
I hate Seed Destiny with a passion. But what makes me hate it the most is the potential it had. It could've been a next generation Zeta, and it failed miserably. The compilation films are more bearable than the series, but by the end of the day a compilation film series can't compensate for weak source material unless you rewrite the story.
Seed is decent. It's mostly just recycling things from earlier Gundams, the second half got better though. Seed Destiny is one of the worst animes ever made.
@foottothenuts I would like to expand on that statement, It is not just one of the worse animes ever maid, but it is one of the worst television shows ever maid either in Japan or North America.
Gundam seed was okay i didn't really like all the gay annoying girls voices and how it had romance and the end were the gundam gets overpowered and kills everything. I haven't seen destiny and i don't intend to because its famous for being a piece of shit waste of time. Currently watching Gundam 00 and i am enjoying it a fucking lot.
Wait...why do I care? I like Destiny...to say it is perfect or as good as Seed is not correct. But then again...many people hated ZZ for a long time and now it is loved...so who knows? Besides, the problems in Destiny come down to the writers being controlled by the fan base. This happens more times then I can count in Japanese anime. Look at Gundam 00 S2, look at Code Geass R2. S1 were great series, but their S2 weren't as good. Stuff like that just can't be helped in Japanese culture.
I agree F-91 was horribly paced.
