well theres a spin-off of this series for any1 who liked this1 called Blood-C its a recently released series there only about 5 or 6 episodes so far and i like the saya in that 1 a bit more then this saya although the fights are a little more gruesome in blood-c so far i like blood-c a bit more then blood+

@CHEYTOAD Nathan, as it is implied throughout the series was really Diva and Saya's mother's chevalier, not Diva's. So Saya's blood would do nothing against Nathan. It is also said that Nathan favored the Blue Queen (which Saya and Diva's mother was) so naturally he stayed with Diva who is also the Blue Queen. (their eye color implies this) Or so that's what I've gathered.
This is the saddest ending i've ever seen to an anime. Most animes i'm just like, "Oh, it's over." But this one really touched me, as cheesy as that sounds. This show is amazing, and i wish more people knew about it, instead of dumb shows like Naruto. -.- (No offense, but Naruto has no real purpose. It's basically a whole bunch of fillers).

Truly an amazing series!!!! I downloaded every last episode and watched it on my iPod. My favorite parts in the entire series was with Kai and Irean. I was so happy when The Thorn started going away and then when she crystallized I literally dropped my iPod 3 feet and my screen cracked. I love Blood+ more than any other Anime out there. They HAVE to make another season! Although it would be hard to make a new story line what with Saya waking up after 30 years and Kai raising the kids.
i hope they make a blood plus anime based on the manga to me the manga was better only because riku did not die. as for adagio it was awesome and haji story was cool
Nathan reminds me of Tobi from Naruto. Like how the "drama queen" is the one you'd least expect to be the more older and powerful one of them all. He is more powerful than all of Diva's and Saya's chevalier since it hinted in some episodes how aggressive he can get towards the other chevalier and how he can even threaten Amshel. But still, he did not attack neither Saya or Diva or their chevaliers. Would be cool if they had a backstory for Nathan as well as James.
Okay, one thing still bugs me about Blood+ and maybe someone can clear it up? I understand the whole system of the queens and chevaliers, and then there's the chiropterans that turn people into more chiropterans, but how did THEY come to exist? and how do they tie in with the queens? Diva's blood turned some guys into chevaliers. but delta 6 7 also had diva's blood and that turned people into ordinary chiropterans
lol, im about to ruin everyone's hopes of hagi and saya in love forever cause im sick of hearing about it. when saya woke up at the begging of the series she had lost all of her memory and it took almost 2 years to regain it all, so guess what's going to happen when she wakes up ;) thats right, amnesia again... im not trying to be a buzz kill but come on, be realistic she's not going to remember anything.

This time was a result of wat happened in Vietnam. The unnatural awakening screwed her up.
Plus even if she did loss her memories again, Hagi will still be alive, Kai will too and its not like he is going to hid her past from her.
The only if factor is if the two new queens will be alright, Diva was evil because of her treatment, hopfully it doesnt pass to the kids, this however seems unlikely.
well, im rather happy that it had a (somewhat) happy ending, although i was realy hoping it would have done a 30 years later kinda thing, even if it was brief... but oh well, good show even if the whole thing was pretty depressing.

I was wondering how Hagi survived and I know that when Saya wakes up she'll be crying tears of joy and running into his arms telling Hagi how much she loves him as he loves her and maybe they'll share another lovely kiss and maybe just maybe they'll get married. So romantic! :3
This is my theory: Nathan is Saya's chevalier and when Saya became pregnant with Diva and Saya, her blood's power was passed to both of them. Also I think that Saya was blue queen and that's why Nathan favored Diva and the reason why Saya couldn't kill Nathan is because Saya's blood is only poison to Diva and her chevalier not her mother's chevaliers. Also Nathan fake his own death to give Saya peace of mind, to know that everyone on Diva's side was dead.

And Nathan knew that and used it to his advantage when Saya didn't know.He didn't want to die,but he knew Saya wouldn't feel fulfilled until she thought the rest of the Chiropterans were slain.I mean she would have even killed herself and the babies because she felt so strongly on the matter.
Truth be told,if Nathan was as old as he seems,he probably could have killed Saya and everyone else too if he had gotten serious.
they should make a better movie to this that actually follows the story besides the last vampire movie that one sucked a lot this anime was great tho.
I cried more than Saya in this episode. After Hagi told Saya "live for today and look forward to tomorrow" than told her he loved her I started BAWLING when he was crushed. I mean REALLY, REALLY?! At least he's still alive...sucks he has to wait THIRTY FUCKING YEARS to see her again...

@Prevailious No, the other Chevaliers did die. Haji can't die because that would pretty much ruin the story, and Nathan was supposedly the first Chevalier, so he's, like, all-powerful. Amshel, James, Solomon, and Karl are definitely dead, though.

I can't really think of a non-fucked up way to say this, so I'll just say it; they should have killed the babies. Sure, I'd love for the little brats to grow up into happy children and then adults, but one thing keeps coming to mind; chiropteran are parasites. They need to feed on humans just to survive. Furthermore, the only way they can reproduce is but spreading the infection to chevalier, and then mating with the spawn of their sibling. These are some sick, sick creatures. They need to die.

I was so happy when The Thorn started going away and then when she crystallized I literally dropped my iPod 3 feet and my screen cracked. I love Blood+ more than any other Anime out there. They HAVE to make another season! Although it would be hard to make a new story line what with Saya waking up after 30 years and Kai raising the kids.

Nathan reminds me of Tobi from Naruto. Like how the "drama queen" is the one you'd least expect to be the more older and powerful one of them all. He is more powerful than all of Diva's and Saya's chevalier since it hinted in some episodes how aggressive he can get towards the other chevalier and how he can even threaten Amshel. But still, he did not attack neither Saya or Diva or their chevaliers. Would be cool if they had a backstory for Nathan as well as James.

Okay, one thing still bugs me about Blood+ and maybe someone can clear it up? I understand the whole system of the queens and chevaliers, and then there's the chiropterans that turn people into more chiropterans, but how did THEY come to exist? and how do they tie in with the queens? Diva's blood turned some guys into chevaliers. but delta 6 7 also had diva's blood and that turned people into ordinary chiropterans

lol, im about to ruin everyone's hopes of hagi and saya in love forever cause im sick of hearing about it. when saya woke up at the begging of the series she had lost all of her memory and it took almost 2 years to regain it all, so guess what's going to happen when she wakes up ;) thats right, amnesia again... im not trying to be a buzz kill but come on, be realistic she's not going to remember anything.

@MrPaparoster Sorry your the one thats wrong. It isnt normal for Saya to loss her memories.
This time was a result of wat happened in Vietnam. The unnatural awakening screwed her up.
Plus even if she did loss her memories again, Hagi will still be alive, Kai will too and its not like he is going to hid her past from her.
The only if factor is if the two new queens will be alright, Diva was evil because of her treatment, hopfully it doesnt pass to the kids, this however seems unlikely.

As for Haji he is Saya's Chivalier so her blood would do nothing.

Saya's blood didn't kill Nathan because he was their mothers Chevalier (ep: 48). There blood has no affect on him.
Annd no Saya's blood can't kill Haji. Only Diva's.

This is my theory: Nathan is Saya's chevalier and when Saya became pregnant with Diva and Saya, her blood's power was passed to both of them. Also I think that Saya was blue queen and that's why Nathan favored Diva and the reason why Saya couldn't kill Nathan is because Saya's blood is only poison to Diva and her chevalier not her mother's chevaliers. Also Nathan fake his own death to give Saya peace of mind, to know that everyone on Diva's side was dead.

Actually I think he did it to give her peace of mind.She wouldn't be happy until Diva and all her chevaliers were dead.did you notice that Nathan was the only one during the entire series that refused to attack either Saya or Diva?
It was hinted that he was their mothers Chevalier,so I'm thinking his entire purpose was to look over both of them untill they had their showdown.

And Nathan knew that and used it to his advantage when Saya didn't know.He didn't want to die,but he knew Saya wouldn't feel fulfilled until she thought the rest of the Chiropterans were slain.I mean she would have even killed herself and the babies because she felt so strongly on the matter.
Truth be told,if Nathan was as old as he seems,he probably could have killed Saya and everyone else too if he had gotten serious.

The biggest Hint comes when Nathan is telling Amschel about how Diva and Saya's grand battle was destined even before their births.
To which Amshel replies something of along the lines of 'You talk like you were there'.
Nathan says 'I was' and Amshel is just like 'Hmmmm' and drops the matter
He probably just thought Nathan was a nutter :P
Also Nathan informs Amschel that Saya and Diva's mom had her own faithful Chevalier.They purposely kept Nathan as a mysterious character.

I cried more than Saya in this episode. After Hagi told Saya "live for today and look forward to tomorrow" than told her he loved her I started BAWLING when he was crushed. I mean REALLY, REALLY?! At least he's still alive...sucks he has to wait THIRTY FUCKING YEARS to see her again...
----A great ending to a great anime. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this. :')

@Prevailious No, the other Chevaliers did die. Haji can't die because that would pretty much ruin the story, and Nathan was supposedly the first Chevalier, so he's, like, all-powerful. Amshel, James, Solomon, and Karl are definitely dead, though.

I can't really think of a non-fucked up way to say this, so I'll just say it; they should have killed the babies. Sure, I'd love for the little brats to grow up into happy children and then adults, but one thing keeps coming to mind; chiropteran are parasites. They need to feed on humans just to survive. Furthermore, the only way they can reproduce is but spreading the infection to chevalier, and then mating with the spawn of their sibling. These are some sick, sick creatures. They need to die.
