@BloodMeridien Gaga is a great singer. But duh they use auto tune on every record she does. People get the "Auto Tune effect" confused from autotune. Studio headphones, EQ, everything has an effect on your tuning. So they need to tune things so they sound great on every system. And if you listen to the backing vocal stem of Paparazzi, you can hear the headphone bleed with the lead vocals on it BEFORE they went through and tuned everything up. ;-).

How do you think you sing? In my vocal class there is a difference between sounding nasal and singing nasal. There is so much resonance in that area! Watch an opera singer and you'll see what I'm talking about! Mouth is used for words and articulation, and the vowels are sung purely through the nasal cavity.
