  • ha ha ha 240p explaining 1080p hahahahahaha!!!!

  • uploaded in 240p? are they trying to be ironic or something?

  • @blightedpersona

Note that youtube only had 320x240p and a mobile mode until March 2008 when 480x360p was added. Then later that year 720p support was added and it went widescreen.

  • funny its in 240p ;d

  • lol. the video is in 240p.

  • hmmm my pc outputs 4320p at 120fps (3d with 120hz)

  • @XtremeBull3T Good for you.. BTW, did you notice this is a Video from 2007 ?

  • To die for...

  • my PC would likely output 1080p50/60

  • its a shame they didn't broadcast this in 1080p...

  • I will never buy A Phillips product ever again! I had a Phillips DVD player that lasted me one year then I Bought a Sony and it still works, that was five years ago. Then I bought a Phillips tv and when I hooked it up the picture was horrible even after balancing it with a calibration disc. So I took it back and got a Sony that still works, that was ten years ago. Every Phillips product I have ever bought has let me Down, I have learned my lesson DON'T BUY PHILLIPS!!!

  • what most people won't tell you however, is that on a smaller tv (32 inch or less) it's better to get a 720p because the difference is negligible.

  • 20 000th viewer !

  • WHEN WILL THEY RELEASE A 1080p NATIVE XBOX 360 GAME?!?

  • @crazyjorge2111

Well, a lot of the racing games on Xbox 360 are native HD 1080p . . . .

  • @jpollorena no...

  • @crazyjorge2111

yeah, they are. GTA 4 is native 720p on 360. MW2 is native 600p on 360 (and ps3).

  • @jpollorena yes I know that. You said a lot of racing games were natively 1080p, which is not correct.

  • @jpollorena bullshit, its upscaled from 720p, to 1080p...there will NEVER be a game at 1080p with 9.5gb for the Dual Layer DVDs because there is simply not enough memory for very high textures, unless you do some insane compression which will kill the reading speed of disk by large amount...so all they can do is to upscale the picture, but if I were you i'd just run the game at 720p or 480p if you cant access 720p! most of the xbox games are running at 480p but titles like halo 3 run at 720p! :)

  • @Shucaybias

High Detailed Textures don't take much space at all. Most XBOX AND PS3 games run native 600p. And upscale. Native 1080p for simple textures in racing games is easy.

  • @jpollorena Actually thats mostly for xbox, in ps3 try this game uncharted 3 which has the native reso of 1080p with hard textures, everything maxed up to the ps3's limits! But LOL who cares! Its all bout the old consoles, theyre more fun to play coz no one cares bout their graphics ROLFMAO! XD

  • @crazyjorge2111 sorry but thats not possible.....Xbox uses a DVD, which is dual layer meaning that the single dvd is using 4.7gb, BUT its double it...ps2 games only use the max amount of 4.7gb and xbox gets double....so now bout the graphics...it is possible with 9.5gb to get 720p with sharp textures but if you want 1080p you will need more than 15gb of memory for the game....thats where ps3 comes in...the games on ps3 have 25gb, or up to 50gb meaning they can run at 1080p with no problemo! ;)

  • @Shucaybias Yea but there aren't many games on ps3 that run natively at 1080p. Ps3 still struggles to do that as well as the 360. And a lot of games look even better on the 360.

  • @crazyjorge2111 there is this game called Uncharted 3 Which will use the PS3 graphic and Processiing abilities 100% and there wasnt games that took advantage of the 8 SPEs in the ps3's processor (Its single core not 8 core XD) so they used to use the Main PE mostly. But im telling ya try playing Uncharter 3 on ps3 and youll be all like damn man! and oh yh halo reach uses 100% of Xbox 360's capabilities, so youll see a big difference. But fuck ps3 or xbox 360 its all bout 60's consoles! XD

  • @Shucaybias ok

  • Yeah, 1080p 60Frames a second on VideoGames. Right buddy, only VideoGames you see using 60Frames a second would be fighting Games and rarely and Racing games. RPG and FPS are always around 25-35 Frames a second.

  • @DarthRavan2012 Are you dumb? On xbox and play station run 60fps for Modern Warfare 2, when your playing the game it tells you how much Fps your getting if you have a hack on. look @ one of my videos, Modding public match is a good one, on the right of the screen it says who's host and how much fps your getting, WHo's the dumbass now, buddy?

  • @ROLEIMODELL Well it's nice to see a real Mature Person on here calling me a dumbass. How about you do your research first before calling anyone a dumbass, the Reason Modern Warfare 2 can run up to 60FPS is because the Game itself is not HD. It's 600p not 720p or 1080p, so it's less work to run it on 60FPS on a lower scale. Modern Warfare 2 (1024x600 600p).

  • @DarthRavan2012 its still 60fps bitch, i play on 720p, i record in 720p

  • @ROLEIMODELL Sorry, but i got a Jtagged Xbox360 and the Game is not running on a Constant 60FPS like PC Games, also the other Guy is right. That Modern Warfare 2 is not running on 720p, 1080p and that the Game really doesen't benefit using 60FPS if it's not running on a high resolution.

  • I love 1080p <3<3 dont you?

  • As a Tv Repair Man,, Philips are the worst TVS you can buy!

  • my computer goes way beyond 30fps

  • whats up with this video??

I ran my pc on my 42" tv at 1080p with about 200fps in most of the latest games?

    Balls shit or something?

  • just look at the upload date.. do pc in 2007 powerful enough to process 200fps at 42' monitor? ball shit or something?

  • unless your tv is actually 200hz stfu

  • 1680 x 1050 pix Will my TV supports 1080p???

  • probably not

  • this hd marketing is just moneymaking shit.

1080p is a joke. pcs are able to play at this resolution since long times.

    1080p at 16:9 is

1920*1080= about 2million pixels(like said in the video)

take a 9800gt for 100€ and you play games like cod1-5 ,world in conflict, unreal tournament3, assasins creed at

    35-50fps at 2560*1600.

thats the double of 1080p (2560*1600 is about 4millioen pixels)

    @ripcore1

a normal 17' pc screen has 1280*1024 thats more than 720p

    a normal 22' for 180€ has 1080p

  • @Skipan2 dude u are 2 smart for this world, how dou actualy control those settings? i have a 45inch plasma tv and ive hooked it to my pc but it looks awful. help?

  • why has this guy got 3 thumbs down when hes right?

  • Free advertising? Youtube should be charging you!

  • I have

    Samsung SyncMaster T220HD

monitor and i play xbox on 1080P

and its grungy and its annoying what can i do?

    to make it smooth?

and this happen on 750p or what too

  • 0:40 - 0:49

"That's to die for" *Long Pause*

    hehe :P

  • LMAO

  • xD I noticed that too...

  • its all 1080p u could have a hd 1080p or a lcd 1080p tv if its just hd not lcd it means how fast those picsells of moving but they or like 700 for like a normal size so its not really worth it i got one it its fine hd lcd acoustic solution

  • im getting a 32" HD LCD TV is that 720p

  • Full HD 1080 Fukn p

  • why do poeple care zbout 1080p will they not just make a new one sooner are later like 2080p and make you buy a new hd tv?

  • yeah its like blu-ray you gotta have it because its every where, not...its your choice, this guys make like if you wont be alive if you don't get it...

  • there really is no point waiting for the next type of video output though, because it's always gonna get better, you'd be waiting forever for technology to stop getting better, you just gotta 'bite the bullet' as they say

  • ya we should just stay with colour tvs *sarcasm*

  • 1080p is much better than the 1080i. The only reason is, not graphically, but better on the eyes. The 1080i is an interlaced display( picture constantly go up or down the screen to display a picture), where progressive is like an expensive camera shooting 30- frames per second directly at the tv..

imagine both of these slowing down, the shots (1080p) would be much easier on the eyes than the scrolling pic(1080i). Hope this is clear.

  • @nouvelli 1080i TVs are CRTs only.

  • which is better. 1080i or 1080p

  • 1080p

  • computers only output 1080p at 30 fps do they ....

  • that's wrong... HDMI - DVI is at least 60 fps.

  • yea thats what i thought

  • yea I'm pretty sure that guy was talking about VGA-VGA

  • Could do without the dumb advertisement, but very useful information, clear, concise and fast.

  • clear and fast

  • just talking you into buying it!
