  • I LOVE THIS SHOW! <3 3 <3

  • I have no idea why there are so many people calling Eureka! videos boring. I remember that as a kid, watching these was one of the few things that gave me an interest in science.

  • That was so cool and inspiring!!! I love you guys! Don't stop being AMAZING!!!

  • voll gut gemacht^^

  • this makes absolutely no sense.....this is retarded. I think the makers of this need to go back to 8th grade.

  • The video content is relatively accurate. Silica, the main component of glass, is molecular, not ionic. The video also didn't say that iron is composed of molecules, it used that comparison to set a new discussion about metallic solids and how they are different from molecular solids. I think it could've been a stronger idea. Maybe you need go back to school and take some chemistry.

  • what the hell thats stupid his momma is so ugly when bob the builder saw her he said we cant fix that.

  • This guy completely contradicted himself!

he stated at the start that molecules were everywhere...

tree, magnifying glass, plastic cup & "lead" pipe

then he ended the video saying there were no molecules in any metal.. including "lead"

    WTF?

  • I love these eureka episodes but this one has holes in it..

At the start he says everything around us is made up of molecules.

Tree, plastic cup, magnifying glass, "lead" pipe...

then he ends the episode saying there are no molecules in any pure metal.. so in effect he said there are molecules in "lead" then he said at the end there aren't molecules in "lead".

  • Not a glass molecule a molecule IN glass.

  • I'm sorry, but this is quite incorrect, from a chemistry standpoint. A molecule of glass? No such thing. Glass is a network and very ionic. Concept of molecule doesn't apply for the material glass. A molecule is only a concept when non-metals atoms are bonded to other non-metal atoms. Also, a molecule of iron? Give me a break. Whoever created this show might have thought they were doing kids a big favor, but they didn't have a knowledgable chemist to consult with...

  • we now that this is boring but i'm still going to keep talking cuz u need to learn. oooo. i learned alot thanks video!!! but omg i'm so tired i wish chewing gum made me smarter!!

  • ew,

i have to watch this in science class.

  • dito my teacher Mr.Beck just gets videos and shows it to us... for science

  • Did this video helped you? There are 30 segments.

  • YEASHERY

  • lol lego world

  • awesomeness

  • we were watching all these in school, ther were extremely boring im sorry, but they need to update thid stuff its all like 50 years old!

and if u pay attention there are alot of sexual references made in these, if u have a dirty mind !

  • I know this is old, but Billy Van died in 2003. Maybe the company or the creator should make a show that is similar to this.

  • what u mean?

  • haha thanks for the heads up

  • @dragonfired4 "we were watching all these in school ther were extremely boring im sorry"

Meh, it's all a mater of taste and interest

I think schools spend too much time trying to tell kids what they need to know, and too little time trying to tell them why the should give a shit.

Getting kids into stuff like this is tricky shit, and it's easy to attack their effort

Honestly, I found this video series to be corny and lame, however I think it keeps it more interesting than just reading a chapter

  • i want LEGO world!!!!

  • Excuse you isn't it? I am talking about the LEGO world part.

  • cool!

  • great stuff

  • im trying to wacht all episodes this show is so cool

  • nice
