  • IF YOU delete the intro this would be absolutely perfect... please do it man

  • what happened to the "untitled" part at the end?

  • What are the origins of this video?

  • Meravigliosa..

  • Love is weird

  • Why cant this song be longer?

  • what do all these clips signify?

  • @jjimarollingstone Most of it is from the Kid A cover (the album this song is off)

  • @malsetiy I meant like, what does it mean? lol

  • @jjimarollingstone Oh, I don't know:P

  • Just sounds like noise to me...

  • Just something I wrote, and I thought a place it could get some appreciation is on a radiohead song.

  • I wait here, dead, at the Finish Line. I always knew it would be here, but I never thought about it. I want to close my eyes but my body is long gone. My eyelids shrivelled long ago and the flakes dissolved into mud and water. My hair could have been black, could have been gold, but it fell from my scalp in clumps and snarled on the shards of glass that litter the ground.

  • And my face… the eyes turned to liquid and trickled down paper cheeks, which tore, little by little, along each contour. And the bones melted into sand and scattered with the slightest gust of air. The sky is ink black and the ground is ash. Flesh sways like wind around me. The air is moist with relief. The trees float and curl. It doesn’t matter. All that matters is this: I was a man once.

  • I was once hot, cold, hungry, scared, happy, broken; everything a man could be. Now I am waiting, alone. I am dead, ready to fade like the white of a wedding dress. I will be forgotten. But before you forget me, hear my voice, be it a whistle that soars over cliffs or a hum that spreads through water. I have little blood left, but what remains I shall shed onto you.

  • Stanley Donwood, I love you.

  • i brought myself here

  • This is art. The Kid A drawings take me to another world. Darker, emptier, but blissful.

  • @AnonTheDark I know exactly what you're talking about

  • @Carsonapolis I knew that there were others. I do not believe Radiohead just invents art for the purpose of creating art. I think this is what the feel. I think they have found this place, somewhere in their minds, like some unconscious existence that we are all overlooking. They are just showing us the way.

  • This song sort of feels like waking up to sunset. you feel groggy and your mind is cloudy and you don't quite know when and where you are, but everything is wonderful. waking up to a world where everything is wonderful. without thinking without needing to think. but to just be. and be happy.

  • Man, this stuff needs to be archived. All of the blips , all of the Live Promo videos from the Kid A era.

  • The classic "lie in your bed and stare at the ceiling, with a single tear rolling down your cheek" song.

  • Who's Laurel? I want to see him.

  • fuck you and whoever brought you here.

    all of you.

  • @Sxvites thom yorke sent me here :<

  • @mattoita hide it.

  • @Sxvites thank you. i hate when people DEMAND thumbs up because they stumbled across a song watching tele. It's like, what do you want? A cookie? Get a grip

  • Like if the sheer greatness of Radiohead brought you here

  • I just uploaded the earliest version of this song on my channel from 1995. I think i'm the only one to upload this version on youtube. It has the extra verse and some minor lyrical changes. Check it out! :D

  • what a crap

  • @ashmerino Are you refering to your grammatical skills?

  • Laurel didn't bring me to this, good music brought me here!

  • Amazing band I just found. I love RADIOHEAD, and i love this as well! Search:

    DEPARTURE - Motion Picture Soundtrack - 2010

  • Laurel brought me here too ;) Love Laurel.

  • like if Laurel brought you to this video.. :)

  • @veelas23 laurel brought me here too!! lol! love radio head as well!! :)

  • @veelas23 Whats laurel?

  • @smitty010493 hahaha who cares.

  • Where cna i get this video????????

  • No, I didn't break up.. I am not even in love

Usually I am happy, and I don't cry easily

BUT this song brings tears in my eyes..I don't know why

  • Please let me die to this song.

  • @ilovemariamaisset I had the same thought.

  • If you like this song, check out The Moviegoer by Walker Percy (it's a book). This song could practically be about the book, but I'm pretty sure there is no direct connection.

  • This is unbelievably beautiful

  • Chills at 1:09

    God I love this song

  • 21 people seriously need to reconsider their taste in music.

  • @TRMDYLE666 And a couple of million twats need to stop referencing the like/dislike bar.

  • @TRMDYLE666 you're right.

  • such a harrowing song

  • Goodbye emily, my love.

  • basicallly it is this simple. impossible to not get watery eyes hearing this

  • My friend heard this song... says it wasn't even slightly sad... Didn't make him even slightly emotional... Lolwut? I almost cry every time I hear this song.

  • @mrsmorrisseyrio LOL! it tends to do that.

  • @mrsmorrisseyrio hahaha, great fucking song, use to love it. But yeah. Cant listen to it anymore. Kind of regret even coming here. Listening to this song now definitely makes me want to Blow my fucking face off.

  • @JamesD567 haha indeed

  • @mrsmorrisseyrio In a good way?

  • Thom Yorke is right.........this is the most beautiful piece of film made for their music.

  • @ArtemisFlyingV did he say that? when? where?

  • That long silence at the end of the album is one of the most disappointing things ever.

  • @rayallen0 is a hidden track ...

  • how could anyone hate on this song??? this is one of their most beautiful, well thought-out songs.. Radiohead is and has been one of the best bands out there for the last 15 years

  • Thank you, radiohead. This album may honestly be the masterpiece of my lifetime.

  • right when 1:03 hit i just feel like i can fuckin fly. love radiohead

  • This is the last song I want to hear before I die...

  • @Raptor015 same

  • I hate it when i ask people, "do you know of radiohead?" and they are like "oh yeah that guy who made that song creep?"

  • Comment removed

  • @BabyStealer no need to , just ignore him and enjoy the mind-blowing music

  • I really like this song, but the twinkly instrument thing always ruined it for me.

  • B-But the harps ;_;

  • @CaptainPengu I know I know, everyone loves it, It just never did anyithing for me. I'm probably just ignorant, I don't dislike the song, it just never did much for me

  • @GeoMcEvan Doubt you're ignorant man, I think Thom himself (and possibly Jonny) said that they meant for the harps to be obnoxiously trilly and overdone (like a Disney film, I think they said.) Not sure if that's right though.

  • @CaptainPengu really? well if that's the case I suppose it's not so bad.

  • @GAYPOWERKID troll harder obvious troll

  • That 10 seconds where the man is walking away from that body.......

God, still sends chills down my spine.

  • If I had this album during my depression, I'm not sure I would have survived.

  • @Vininn126 Well thank God you're over that. Ironically, this album was Yorke's way out of depression.

  • @Vininn126 I hear you m8. I dont think it's all bad, but this song would be pretty easy to pull the ol trigger too, liol.

  • Wow this song is just so poignant and beauiHOLY FUCK AT 1:55 CREEPY 3D THOM HEAD

  • I will see you, in the next life...

  • Is this the official video of this song?

  • @rpgmakr yes it is

  • @rpgmakr no it isnt... Its just a bunch of blips from the Kid A era put into one video and it worked as a musical video for this beautiful song

  • @pantapdiazho Kid A era? What is that? What are you referring to here?

  • @rpgmakr the Kid A era was the time the album was released... sorry for not telling you

  • this is a example of genius, if you want to study something to increase your intelligence study readiohead, they say that mozart is supposed to make you more apt but try radiohead, they are finely and regally orchestrated with beautiful music..

  • saddest song in the world

  • this is my fav vid

  • Kid A is my life soundtrack.I am loving it

  • 1:02

I was on a bus in Tokyo for an international Secondary School choir tour.

It was the moment my life became complete.

  • @Bechaz123

No you just realized all that life had to offer and Radiohead introduced you to the beginning. :D.

  • i'm enojoying my life which including playing soccer, studying for the natural resources and english, and listening Radiohead. My friends asked me why I would like to listen depressing music? I asked them why you would not like to enjoy your depressing time too? And listening them is not only for depressing. their music is just beautiful for me too. thanks Radiohead

  • I started laughing pretty hard when Thom's face came up at 2:00 Kinda killed the mood.

  • in heaven there is only this song...

  • @Neganaso

    i hope so... xD

  • truly amazing. All my friends say radiohead are depressing and sad, but what my friends find depressing, i find beautiful like this song

  • The whole song is incredible, but 2:00-the end is on completely different planet.

  • yeah greattttt

  • amazing Video. wow.

  • Radiohead to me, usually consists of a constant beat (usually drums) with different melodies layered on top...some melodies go on for a while, some drop out quickly, and some cover up other layers...but they're always amazing melodies.

  • Why in all hell is the Saw theme music in the related results?

  • perfecta

  • Kid A is possibly the greatest studio recorded album to date. Of any genre..

  • @vivisect86 if you don't understand this song, kindly burn in a ditch

  • .... NO JODA

  • This might make me unpopular but i wish he had done the whole track like the first verse with only vocals and the organ. I felt the effects and additional choir sound detracted from one of the most beautiful songs ever composed/performed. Still great though.

  • this is far superior to exit music which gets a lot of praise.

  • @pythonbyte both are great but this is FAR superior like you said

  • @pythonbyte ttough call.

  • @vivisect86 Subscriptions - LadyGagaVEVO, shows a lot about you. If only more people could appreciate Radiohead instead of getting sucked into the absent-minded mainstream bullshit that exists today.

  • This song is what I will listen to on my death bed.

  • Radiohead is basically a concept of Hidden melodies. Not every mind can decipher them.

  • what a scuh fucking beauty

  • I listened to this song a lot after I got dumped. It just made me feel better. I don't know why. It also helps me sleep. Great tune. Thanks Radiohead.

  • @vivisect86 It's like the Exit Scene to the entire Kid A album, Dumbass. I don't think the Intent of the song was ever to be "exciting."

  • That last synth rush part is freakishly chilling... especially since I'm in my bedroom with my only light source being my computer screen o-o

  • RIP Braxton Charles Shiplett

  • This song was written the same day as "creep"

  • I wish they could know how many lives they've touched.

  • Love the song with the blips for a video, truly beautiful song

  • I like it better with the intro

  • Insert clever generic dumbass intellectual comment here______

  • this is just beautiful

  • where is the end????!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! that is the best part.

  • This was on much music? Wow I would love to see this come up on much music. It wouldn't fit in at all with all the other crap.

  • Red wine and sleeping pills Help me get back to your arms Cheap sex and sad films Help me get where I belong I think you're crazy, maybe Stop sending letters Letters always get burnt It's not like the movies They fed us on little white lies I think you're crazy, maybe I will see you in the next life
  • NO! MY FAVORITE PART IN THE WHOLE ALBUM IS THE ENDING OF THIS SONG AND ITS NOT HERE! AHHHHHH!

  • This is one of the most powerful songs ever written. It instantly connects you with the deepest experience of pain and sorrow. Radiohead - nobody does it better, indeed...

  • 15 people don't have a Soundtrack for they Motion Picture.

  • 14 people cant hear anything so they didnt like the vid! ^-^

  • Erggh. The only thing this video is missing is the short part of the song after that ridiculously long lacuna.

The trilly harps and the haunting sounds played there are just brilliant.

  • beautiful

  • paposos, aguante radiocabeza, en su funeral los va a orinar un buey

  • 1.58, when Thom York's head appears. That is fuckin' creepy!

  • Does anybody here knows the cheap copy of this song. HAMBURG SONG, by Keane. Such a cheap bad version of this wonderful epic song.

  • @MarkoSalasOpazo

    this is just GORGEOUS!!

  • This song is so amazing!

  • Funny, I used to play a piano cover of this song to my girlfriend, but only now I actually understand it... Letters do get burnt...

I hope I see you in the next life Bia...

  • this song is a masterpiece

  • i wAnna jack off to this song and use my jizz to make a beautiful yet somber painting

  • @africanroderick Have you seen the video for Go To Sleep?

  • a cg thom face might be a bit much

  • I think i'm crazy

  • I am having , bulletproof..I Wish I was, Motion picture soundtrack, the national anthem , planet telex, true love waits and house of cards at my funeral. After listening to that lot I can seriously rest in peace.

(Although Queen's- another one bites the dust might be a good idea!)

  • @MsCalmbeforethestorm DERP UR FUNNIE!!

  • @iceguy0077 Thanks :) I think....

  • this is my favorite song of all time, and I can barely listen to it

  • aww man, the old days Much Music!!!

  • i love radiohead :)

  • Amazing song, but the video quality doesn't do it justice - headphones do.

  • i love radiohead, they're on a completely different level. they might sound sad or depressing to some but their music is truly beautiful in every way to me

  • some many memories of being on robo with my mates, laying on the ground drifting off into deep space while this is playing.

  • A little bit "Sigur Rós - Heysátan", but it's ok!

  • @wildpear for information...Motion Picture Soundtrack released in October 2000 and Heytátan released 2005

  • @okkanane ok :) I didn't say M.P. Soundtrack was made from Heysátan. :) I just said, the starting accords, and their feelings are the same. I think we are clear now :)

  • @okkanane ok :) I didn't say M.P. Soundtrack was made from Heysátan. :) I just said, the starting accords, and their feelings are the same. I think we are clear now :)

  • The chimes sort of remind me of Joy Division's 'Atmosphere'. Both are so wistful, poignant and frankly, phenomenal.

  • this song is too short.

    does anyone agree?

    nevermind i shouldn't question radiohead.

  • @SOADownsnubs

Well, it's longer on the album, like 7 minutes.

  • @kingcam0775 its not for me :(

  • Comment removed

  • 10 años... el grupo de mi vida, que la cambió y la sigue cambiando :)

  • happy 10 years Kid A. You are the only one that changed completely my life, thank you radiohead, many thanks.

  • Wow, it makes me shiver. Great song, Powerful.

  • Red wine and sleeping pills help me get back to your arms

  • good video but that (to be honest pretty badly made) thom yorke 3d head kind of ruins it

  • @mysfarbror I agree, but this song is awesome.

  • much music used to play music?

  • @edhusse back when they didn't suck, yes

  • @edhusse haha yeah their so crappy now

  • Ladies and gentleman, you have just witnessed brilliant art in two sensual forms: visual and auditory. May we all now rest in peace.
