So what did you do to help with your acne scarring? I don't have insurance right now but I'm getting married later this year and will then be put under my fiance's insurance so going to the doctor isn't really an option until later down the line. I don't have a problem with acne anymore but I still have the scars.

I totally agree that we should not rely on makeup and should still feel confident without it. But at the same time I think it depends on how your bare skin looks. For me personally, I'm still struggling with acnes & scarring and a layer of foundation really boosts my confidence in public. I wish someday I can move to that stage and cut down on wearing makeup!

I can't use either benzoyl peroxide OR salicylic acid. If I use either of those, it irritates my acne. I use cetaphil. It's the ONLY thing that's worked to clear my skin.
