They were originally going to do China not Japan, which would have been way better. At least they should unite some of the Asian nations as one faction? In RA2 Soviet nations included even middle eastern countries, and Japan is its own contender? but people who like video games like Japan I guess. I think it is kind of stupid. @SmoothCriminalAaron There's a difference between cool and more attractive. I like all the hot girls in it just fine, but they substituted all of Asia for Japan, sorry but it's not very believable. As much as Japan is god to gamers and geeks, it's still Red Alert, not Evangelion. Just look at the plot to the other Red Alerts and you will see that it doesn't match up. What did someone go back in time and turn everyone in the eastern hemisphere into Japanese people?

But mabye in RA4 the time change will create a China superpower
