When someone commit crimes against the sovereignty of their own country and its people, they are automatically an enemy of that country. An enemy of their own country must be considered having renounced all rights to that country, for his/her intentions were to destroy the very principles that rule that country. As conservative as I am, I would not support giving special treatment to terrorist Americans killing Americans

@Liberte76 Thomas Paine lived in an era when most people PRACTICED true christianity. It was easy to deal with a few enemies. Our enemies today abound and evil has spread to all levels. As fancy as it sounds, Paine's declaration is merely a utopy in today's society. Governments are here to impart justice, and justice is within christian principles. Give Caesar what is Caesar's.
