I'm with you all the way aside from the global warming issue. I'm not denying the possibility that it COULD be a scam, as I personally do no possess the knowledge necessary to analyse the situation by myself. However, I don't think moving towards less dependency on oil could harm anything, therefore I reject the possibility that this REASON (or 'threat') for moving in that direction would lead to anything destructive as far as the environment goes. The common ideology of conservatives is less government involvement in economical issues and more governmental involvement in social matters. (Liberals are the opposite of each) I agree with the labeling and the certains views. I feel the same way about both matters.

I've always wondered why the black community can't seem to understand the damage entitlement programs have done to them. The black family unit has pretty much been decimated and pretty much no longer exists. Legalized abortion has been a near genocide on the black community. I grew up in a town where nearly all of the black's were descended from people who migrated from inner city Milwaukee, Detroit, etc (I live in MN where it is very easy to get welfare). @alfimon, You don't believe that Jesus is the god of the old testament? Also, Jesus said you have to follow everything in the OT:
“For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:18-19)
