  • Hello, i would like to knw if all the native instruments software are compatible with Ableton live?..

  • wow! I'm so excited to see this. I emailed scarbee 4 years ago and requested he make a funk guitar plugin. He seemed very interested in the idea. I wonder if my suggestion inspired this?

  • @allinthemind2006 maybe!

  • YA COME CHECK MY BEATS OUT ON MASCHINE MIKRO HARD HITIN DRUMS

  • All this fucker does is play PRE-MADE PATTERNS!!! I DON'T FUCK WITH THIS SHIT AT ALL!!!!!!

  • @BHBSTL I would rather make my OWN patterns, not play off YOURS. SMH......

  • may the funk be with you...

  • As a guitarist, I must say this is extremely impressive, sure, its not as good as some session guitarists but considering the features of this and the price, its the next best thing. Great job NI.

  • Damn, it's AWESOME. I can finally throw this stupid Steinberg VGEE in recycle bin.

P.S. I always loved NI VSTs and libraries. Thank you.

  • This is brilliant I have been waiting for a program like this to come along Wicked.

  • What ever happened to having real musicians who can play.....NI is dumbing down music ...get out there find a guitarist and fuckin play !.....for real!!....not some dumb ass simulation !

  • piano roll does not show. how do I pull the piano roll up (funkchild1284 @ yahoo.com)

  • This is some really good software for people who dont have guitars, but why not just play it real??

  • @KeithMMeldrum .......AGREED SEE POST!!!! yes shouting~!

  • @cyberhmoob They're your friends and they're charging you? Sounds like you need new friends, bro.

  • DAMN, as a 30+ year guitarist, I must say this is very good.

  • no wah effect?

  • @NativeInstruments, when are you guys gonna put a tutorial up for this?

  • Jamiroquai - Manifest destiny

my fav funky - acid jazz track for the contest :D

  • OMFG !!! I love this !!!

  • can i make metal with?

  • Does this come in Komplete 7 Elements?

  • Gotta give Native Instruments some credit for making all this awesome stuff!

  • @Vodje01 Its not awsome...its dumbing down music....get a real guitarist in !

  • @HarrysChild Yeah thats what this is for you douche. If you cant get a guitarist on your track you can do it like this

  • @Vodje01 give the credit to Scarbee. NI just bought him out. He makes all the funky stuff..

  • Worth every penny.....

  • wooot!

  • why don't you just learn how to play it on a real guitar, the way it's ment to be done

  • @JonnyFunkMistro Why not type the English language the way it's meant (!) to be done ...

  • @JonnyFunkMistro

Because not everyone has the time to be good at guitar..... When a client wants a guitar based track....they're not going to wait two years for you to be good at guitar.......

  • @JonnyFunkMistro first of all the programm is aimed at producing,so if u dont produce u dont need it.when u make beats everything is choped up samples from vst's to wav forms, this just brings more to create with wich is dope

  • when there's a Scarbee Heavy Metal Guitar or Scarbee Metalcore Guitar, then i'll be interested.

  • Just wanted to say that it is no "easier" to make music with SFG than if you were a good guitarist. All we do is giving any user "super" skills. But you would never tell a great musician that it was now "too easy" form him to make music, right? Music creating is not about this - its about HOW you use your skills. SFG is not fixed loops - you can combine up to 3x48 grooves to form you own grooves - an create a groove just like you want to. You can define your own chords or get inspired.

  • I think this is a very interesting development which could be very helpful to quickly go the extra mile. Would I use it for a full lead? Probably not but then again, NI still has their "sample magic" which makes their instruments really stand out; like their Indian Sitar ('North India') for example; an amazing yet quick sound. Fake guitars? Cheap sounds? Lets not forget; no matter how smart or enhanced the instrument is it won't make it impossible to produce horrible stuff. Blame the 'artist' !

  • oh this is another "virtual musician" plugin library right!? where you can just play phrases (preset and custom riffs) instead of playing the notes from scratch...

I think native instruments have great plugins but I prefer their synths and standard samplers using my own sample library.

PS: warum spricht hier niemand deutsch?

  • if you are trying to write songs for you local used car lot commercials- that air at 3:30am, this is your instrument. Im not sure I understand the point of this tool.

  • check out my mix dirty electro u gnna like like :)

  • @0:17 "Every time you need to f**k" LOL

  • @GianfrixMG Man you rule xD

  • @GianfrixMG What is wrong with all of us sick people online?

  • looks like fun :-)

finally no more guitarist needed :-P

  • IS it going to be usefull? Maybe occasionally. IS it gonna sound fabricated, prolly will!

  • now thats a Funky Program! me wants..do i ever! O.O

  • Wtf is this? This isn't even music producing. Too easy.

  • Why must guitar players always whine when we can use their instrument using a keyboard ?

  • @alexfrbc Whine about what? :O OH, we can, btw, use your instrument too using a guitar

  • @OnyxBeastGuitar i know, but we are cool with it ;)

  • @alexfrbc Haha alright, well I am too ;)

  • @alexfrbc Because you are just so fucking damn lazy :D Btw I'm not a guitarist. If you make a song with 2 drumloops and pressing 3 keys for automatic guitar, has that anything to do with music? Nope. :)

  • @claybiter If it sounds good, then yes - go for it! But you will find most times, putting raw loops toghether, will not get you to your goal :) It is not the journey that matters, it is the results! Always remember that ;) With realguitar i get a lot of people thinking i hired an awesome guitar player.....but fact is, that it all lies in hours of programming. You CAN have it sound ok byt pressing 3 keys as you put it, but it takes looooooads more effort to make it sound right :)

  • @alexfrbc Umm actually journey matters... experience is the result of journey. Wich is good thing I guess...? Lul

  • @claybiter

Exactly. Could not agree more, but you missed my point, it seems....

  • @alexfrbc OR you missed MY point :)

  • is there a way i could tie this into Maschine without using Kore??

  • @SparkMatik716 Load a Kontakt instrument into a Maschine sound, load Scarbee into the Kontakt player.

  • This is really cool! Imagine the scenario you're on a long 6hours trip to somewhere and that funk just came into your head. On the train or bus you can't really pick up and rig your favorite guitar :) That's where this piece of software kicks in! Wow, really I see this that way, due the fact I play the guitar both acoustic and electro! This is a super sweet complement to the studio and live situations! For sure it's on my list! :D

  • Looks pretty cool. Might have to add this to the collection!

  • niceeee

  • this is great!

  • I can't use it because my Guitar Rig 4 takes over the sound card and every other audio is muted until I close Guitar Rig... How can I solve that?

  • @pariahthe i dont use guitar rig but in most audio softwares theres a setting that u can uncheck like in FL studio u can uncheck the "auto close device" that does exactly that, it closes the audio device to othe softwares, if i uncheck it then i can open ther softwares without having to close FL studio

  • Amazing inst im buy now fr my komplete 7 ;):)

  • While the production aspect of music increasing gets easier and more advanced I am wondering when people are going to step back and put some soul into their work. This looks likea great product from Native Instruments but it is a little scary when you step back and realize that you can create such intricate and professional style sounds with two keys and a computer. I hope that producers will be able to step back at one point and put human beings back on their tracks.

  • @PaydenWidner increasingly*

  • @PaydenWidner If it sounds good who cares...

If the musics not good then the listener will decide.

  • @Harrysound yea good point...Im just hoping playing actual instruments doesn't eventually end in the future. haha

  • @PaydenWidner I dont think it will, or at least i hope it wont too haha, i mean, there is always going to be somebody that thinks that playing a VST isnt the same, and will learn how to play the actual instrument. But i still think its awesome how much our technology has progressed to be able to replicate a real instrument to such a degree.

  • @PaydenWidner it wont.

Can you imagine the young rock/fuck/blue muscisians going on stage with a keyboard and native instruments....no.

This is for the guys that don't play but write.

  • This next to Traktor will be a soul- funkhouse blast of gigantic proportions. I mean the floors are gonna explode, gravity will disappear, the air will turn to ecstacy and the club will be shot to the moon... Seriously!!!

  • Can you please release the Track at 1:30!!! It is so amazing and catchy. I would pay for it! Someone else too? :)

  • Now if only I can get a placement , or pub deal, I could buy this today!

  • Please make your plugins standalone, i mean not in kontakt etc..

  • for the love of christ sake, use "do re mi fa sol la si" instead of "a b c d e f g"

  • what midi controller is that? anyone...

  • @gavinjamesaitken1 Keyboard midi controller

  • I wanna be a milionaire so freakin bad...

so I could buy a new hat...

owh and the scarbee funk guitarist....

  • I must have this!!!!!

  • "demonic" chord progressions? they could have come up with a better one, don't you think?

  • waht kind of midi keyboard is that? anyone know, looks soo clean :)

  • @gavinjamesaitken1 if you clean your keyboard its 'clean' too :)

  • @TheKaratyChicken i mean clean as in sleek lol, no ugly logos all over it like i've seen with all other midi keyboards.

  • Which makes me wonder...does anyone know why they cannot create a VST version that could be hosted in a DAW like Reaper, instead of having to use all of NI's proprietary software?

Yeah, ok, that might be fewer people using Kore, but probably a lot more people buying the product overall.

  • I can play guitar, and I can play funk, but I'd still be interested in this program if you didn't need the shite Kore player to run it. The set-up looks intuitive, the samples sound amazing, and the algorithms to control transitions are sweet.

GuitarRig remains the only NI software I use, and that's because it plays nice with Reaper. But trying to run Kore and other progs, and routing it all through Cubase, is a nightmare. I will continue to play my own funk.

  • @GozerTheGozerian your'e funkeyh?

  • I'll buy it :D:D

  • Dude, with the right equipment....you could mix a pretty sweet techno song!

  • @DayBreakMods -sigh-

  • So it plays loops for you? O.o

I guess this is for people who need soundtracks, but not necessarily music.

  • @tylerfolio The only limit is your imagination.. This is a very clever and well engineered product. Which again, the only limit is your imagination. They clearly state you can create chords from scratch and everything from scratch. Music, Soundtracks, Shit, I can't wait to get my hands on this!.

  • I like every new NativeInstruments-Instrument ;)

  • Intresting..

  • Where's the fun in that? it's not the same as playing a real guitar.

  • @Penguindog55

It seems to be for people that can only play keyboard.

  • @Penguindog55 the fun(k) is for us who don't know how to play guitar.

  • awesome ~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • getting this
