It looks and sounds to me like there's a problem with your hard drive, judging from the grinding sound and the code in the error message. That sound is normally a sign of the bearing lubricant in the drive having failed.
You'll need to replace your computer's hard drive, I'm afraid. Thankfully, this doesn't cost too much. If the system was overheating due to a failing fan, it would have shut itself off or sounded an alarm beep during the six minutes.
I take it that you have vista and you just got the "blue screen of death" im sory but i could not read what it said on your computer just messege me back
The computer sounds like its dieing unless its just the quality of the camera, Try reinstalling WIndows XP if you have a disk or ask a friend,if that doesent work then something is overheating or there is an hardware issue.
oh never mind you have a dell. sorry to be negative but we work on those all the time at work. gotta love those refurb maxtor drives they put in there or they use refurb deathstars. im pretty sure the hdd has failed tho
At this point I highly reccomend you do not load windows if you make it to the "Windows XP" splash screen. (Hold the power button in). Go to a friends house and bring your windows xp cd and google "bart pe". Obtain pe builder and read about it. Get to a point where you can boot that cd to scan your machine without loading its current state.
boot with your windows xp cd, it will say press F2 to boot recovery console, do so. Enter administrators password and type fixboot at the prompt. Next line type fixmbr. Easy as that and reboot. If that does not solve your problem, check physical cables, that you can hear the audible drive-spin (if it was loud enough to notice). If not replace the drive.
I think I know what your problem is. It happened to me.

Try replacing your Motherboard. It can be the main problems.
-
Reasons: Your Motherboard overheated. Could you have been downloading too much? If so, try to buy a new motherboard. If this isn't the problem, try formatting your computer. But try to replace the motherboard first. ;) I garunteed that it will work!
