People think about it, so are you telling people the Nubia and Ancient Egypt were different races? these people had the same culture, religion, dress, and hair styles. The lived right next to each other, and you are telling us they were different races. I think that is bullshit
Its great to see the knowledge preserved by the ancestors are coming back to the surface ,and not just in the underground being used by the powers at be to control the masses. For those who are interested in Art work that pays homage to the ancestors please visit Ramomart.com your support would be appreciated.
@etrax2000 Look closer! This Is FAKE! Made racists and people so ashamed of their own heritage that after the invasion decided to steal Africans'. Go into Kemet today and you shall see how the current Egyptians are painting over all the wall artwork, restructuring artifacts and creating false statues!
@AdventuresOfMrQuest This straight hair people were they asiatic? Cuz ancient egyptians hair are wooly not straight. Where do you get your nonsense from. Ancient egyptians were black african people. They migrated out of what we call ethiopia/kenya/somalia region. Look on those people today and you will get a point on what ancient egyptians look like 2500 yrs or more. Modern day egyptians especially those in the lower part are descendant of persian, greeks, romans, arabs and turks.
husk pyramids went up before Egyptian ones as well as the worship of distinctive and some separate gods long before Egypt did. they did not conquer Egypt because it was weak they did it because it was changing cultures. Taharqo's army was called the true children of the Sun and his mission was to restore the Nile valley culture that the Egyptians were losing to outside influences IE Greece and Assyria.
They stole peoples heritage white people never make history before the start slaving Africans.before that they are called barbarian people that is white people history..
Im confused?? the sphynx of gaza is clearly black african. And they already have many statues of taharqa what?? did he not know taharqa was black?? and all the pharoah statues in egypt have black faces who is this guy.
@tictac2300 Wikileaks??.....You mean wikipedia, I guess...
Wikileaks is the name given by the former military guy who's divulging diplomatic secrets on all countries...
First Wikipedia is not the best source on academic data..It's written by internet users sometimes quoting dubious references...Nothing replaces concrete University Works, and these don't support the Black Civilisation Hypothesis...
Otherwise, even Wikipedia calls it a "controversy" not an accepted fact
@Varoonmg you should read Chris Ehret's essay Ancient Egypt as an African culture, Ancient Egypt as an African Language. It clearly shows AE as an African civilization which emerged from the south. There is also the reseach done by Fred Wendorf, The Role of Nabta Playa in North East African History is one of his papers. Its available online for free and again provides evidence for the southern or nubian origin of AE.
@MrSesh84 Hmmm..Articles on the internet? Well why not, but I still remain quite sceptical....
I'm not denying Sub-saharan influence on Ancient Egyptian civilisation, but calling it a Black Civilisation seems quite far fetched, it hasn't reached consensus
For instance, I recently watched a documentary on the French national TV channel that spoke about mummifying rites that Egyptians might have borrowed from some Lower-Liberian Sub Saharan Culture, but they still stated that AE were not Blacks
@Varoonmg Articles on the internet. r u serious. They r articles written by credible scholars. The French national TV channel was lying to u. There is no debate about whether or not AE was an indigenous African culture , mothered by the Sahara, sharing the same origin with so called Nubian Culture. it is more a question of people who r aware of the fact and those who are not. u sound like someone who is willing to learn. u can begin with christopher Ehrets essay.
@MrSesh84 Yes I'm willing to learn, by that I mean I'm not a bigot on the issue...
But I still remain highly skeptical......The French show I spoke about is a well known one and is broadcast on a very respected channel...and the French are among the best Egyptologists ever....so if something as huge as a Black Egyptian Civilisation was true, I'm pretty sure, it would have received adequate coverage in the media....
The official theory is AE being North African, I'm sticking to it....
@Varoonmg you should spend less time infront of the TV and more time in your local library or local bookstore. I recommend Theodore Celenko's ' Egypt in Africa'. And how does AE being north african make it less African? The last time i checked North Africa was no European island.
@MrSesh84 Noone ever said that AE was not "African", what all Egyptologists say is that it isn't "Black" African
The books I've been reading in any of the libraries I've been too, including the University one actually point to the "North" African ethnicity of the ancient egyptians, i.e the ancestors of modern egyptians who aren't black, even the Chief Egyptian Egyptologist Zahi Hawas stated that....
The term "Africa" encompasses many things, but in ethnic terms AE was North not Black
@MrSesh84 India and China are both found in "Asia" but that does not mean that both populations are of the same ethnicity, same with the distinction made between North Africans and Sub-Saharans.....
Gene studies and archeological finds show that ancient egyptians looked like today's modern egyptians who are more Middle-Eastern looking, that kind of settle the issue....
Like with the Taharka example, Sub-Saharans influenced Egypt, but they weren't the founders or the majority
@Varoonmg No dna show that modern day egyptians look like ancient. That's just a bunch of rubbish. Middle east is not asia. It just become part of it 150 yrs ago. Ancient egyptians look like sudanic, kenyans, ethiopians and somalis. U irrational answer is off the mark. Africa is a black continent. Those we see in north africa are the result of conquerers and other migration over the last 2000 yrs. Just like modern day america. Don't speak before you think idiot
@Thutmosis7 Anthropologists & Egyptologists alike say that Ancient Egyptians looked like Modern Day Egyptians..They explain the difference between North Africans & Sub Saharans by the Great Sahara desert that divides the Continent into two..
No University or any Archeological Research Work finds any similarity between the vast majority of Ancient Egyptians and Sub Saharans..
If you feel ashamed by your ancestors' underachievement, no need to steal the History of Others
@Varoonmg Dude you can keep your nonsense with your caveman. No real intelligent person will bye into anything you said. Just pure neo nazi crap. Peace and bye for good
What nonsense, is that your only argument?, accusing someone of being a Neo Nazi?
In fact ANY intelligent person knows that Ancient and Modern Egyptians are of the same North African Ethnicity
Universities across the world teach this truth, if you can't stand it, then just sorry for you
Waffling on the Internet is just meaningless, just remember that all Universities and Egyptologists don't believe in Afrocentric Historical Revisionism..and THEIR opinion counts
@Varoonmg The Sahara has undergone climatic changes. During what is called the African Humid Period the now arid Sahara consisted of Grasslands, forests and lakes, this was due to the northward shifting of tropical rainfall. The Nile River also provides a corridor for migration as it flows directly through the Sahara. So describing the Sahara as a divider is inaccurate.
@AltruisticShinobi Some of them, but not all. Mostly the ones in the upper part of egypt. The ones in the lower part which is the north are from other part of the world.
