I read a lot of appraisal about Lande who is an totally amazing singer, but what makes the music totally kickass and my favourite cd of all time is the complete band. The Allen/Lande cds are kickass too, but Russel Allen is another amazing singer :-)

Singer sounds almost identical to Ray Alder of Fates Warning at times. I love his voice. Also hints of Bruce Dickinson.
