interesting cover. i really like the sound of your kit. maybe it's your mic placement, idk. but the bass drum sounds really punchy. i like! i also noticed your tom mic is on the reso head. any reason for that? i thought it's standard for mics to be on the batter side but i could be wrong. I don't really know myself.
your cover sounds legit. It's right with the song, but it seems your video is slightly behind the sound.
hey i gotta question what is a good drum set to start off with i started taking lesson's my teacher never told me a good drum set to start people told me mapex but idk
@hiro44744 It's hard to say, honestly. Sound Percussion is really good for beginning drummers, I've owned a set from them. I've never played a Mapex so I can't say.
@Nlogan668 awesome. i dont have a sound system like u do so the sound might just be a little off and im still experimenting on camera angles on the way my drums sound. plus ive been a drummer for a yr, 2 if u count rockband lol
btw half of the songs youve covered are the songs i listen too n always wanted 2 try like ocean avenue. keep it up!
@freedomzeroxgp Hey man, I know exactly how it is just recording with the crappy camera haha that's how I started out, I've been doing these videos for like 3 years. So definitely let me know when you put up videos. I'll watch.
Thanks man! This is an awesome series. I'll be posting another video in about 2 hours.
@OnePieceIsGood Thanks for the comment! Everything regarding my drumset can be found on my channel page. But if you have any further questions please do feel free to ask.
Good job man. Killer sound from that floor tom :) And Bass drum sounds way better. And the snare sounds.. "odd" But interesting. But, thats because its so deep. My custom kit that I dont play in my videos is a 14x8 Snare. And When i used it in the studio, it had kind of a sound like that, so we used my 5.5x14 one
@whitneyslover123 Thanks! Yeah, my snare is a 14x7 so it can get a little deeper. But, just a few hours ago I tuned it way up cause I'm gonna experience with that sound since I'm recording new videos tomorrow. Look out for a new snare sound on Monday!
Nice man lol.
