  • Jo, you are fantastic. Thanks for a great tune. x

  • Lovely instrumentation ... and a lovely smile. Beautiful. Greetings to one and all, from Jarrahnut in wonderful Western Australia.

  • Do you have any experience with The Oscar Schmidt OS45? I was thinking about getting one and wanted to know how they were tone wise and quality?

  • so much womanhood in your videos, I just can't stop watching.. :)

  • May I ask what brand, or make of autoharp you play? Truly it has a lovely sound, and is not harsh - I would love to buy one like it. Thanks!

  • @gtrgdss It's a custom-built diatonic autoharp made by a luthier called Tom Fladmark

  • Beautiful tune. Beautiful smile. Greetings from Jarrahnut (Big Hugh from Mundlimup) in wonderful Western Australia.

  • Very pretty. I love that song probably more so than anything else Don McLean has done. It sounds great on an autoharp. You play it very well.

  • Okay so I forgot to say how beautiful this rendition was..

  • Well,

40 years ago I got an autoharp and an LP of Mother Mabel Carter teaching me how to play it. I loved that autoharp for mostly making beautiful harmonies that echoed in my head as I strummed it in a most embracing stance ( very much like this video, with it close to my head). The chords were absloutley stunning.

I never went farther than the pure pleasure of making sweet chords to listen to.

This video has me hankering to go back to those days of my wonderful autoharp.

    THANKS!

  • So beautiful! I love playing my autoharp, but I don't think I will ever be as good as you. I can't get the hang of picking out the individual string, I just play all of them on the one chord. Thanks for sharing, your amazing!

  • Jo Ann, my daughter and I are your newest fans. Thank you for sharing your beautiful music with us. Once again my daughter tells me to tell you that she liked this one "100%" too. lol You can't tell that is her newest favorite phrase can you?

  • Another piece of listening perfection for us, thank you, Jo Ann, for the treasure!

  • Beautiful!

  • Sweet!

  • wow, Thank you!!
