Well all i can say is that top fuel dragsters and som if the fastest car use carbs, fuel injection is more reliable and they dont go stright into the motor! It spreys in the intake just like a carb does any ways ur comparing different size engins now direct injection would be a big step towards more power!!

@justinbertrand450 not necessarily. take for example, the honda rincon. the older 650 model is carbed and has much less throttle response and power delivery than the newer 680 fuel injected model. with a carburetor, you lose response because the fuel has to dump into the bowl and travel all throughout the carb and get the air mixture. with injectors, the fuel goes straight to the motor and meets the air there. just think about it for a little bit

Your right , 3' isn't very deep. In the post your refering to I said it's more than 3' deep. Most of the water out there is 4-5' some hole r a little deeper. One is even too deep for mine n I have 16" snorkels. 3' of water is just enough to have fun

I have a rincon and ride deep mud and water. Mostly mud though. I've rode with every bike there is. Even your mighty canam. I out mud these other bikes all day long. If you wanna break it down to nut n bolts it's 90% driver. My rincon is at about 35 hp. The canam has more than double that. I drove around him at the second mudhole. The griz 700 on that same ride got towed out by a Forman 500. Don't try to compensate your lack of driving skills with a bigger machine. Just learn to drive.

@sweetdirt125 no ive riddin a rincon and it lacks power. my buddy that owns the one i rode even says that but he wont buy anything but a honda cuz parts are cheap. for being 680cc they should make way more power than they do. my 700 sportsman would smoke it all around.

@02lb72500HD of course but remember that your sportsman is bigger cc aswell but it can't follow the rincon anywhere coz it would get stock very easy. But hondas are the most reliable atv's on the market i own one and it has never broken

@02lb72500HD yes but the difference between any honda quad and yamaha is that honda's never breaks down when you need them. Yamahas do so. And no they don't have 3 wheel drive. there is a reason that it is "4wd" not "3wd" . I don't care if this sportsman thing has more power coz i can tune the rincon if i want to. But i would rather have a reliable and great quad than a yamaha that breaks down easy and gets stuck on pavement lol

@meDJSIRIUS hondas do break just like everything else when they get rode hard. and no they are 3wheel drive cuz only 3wheels spin in the mud and no matter how much tuning you can do on r rincon it wont make as much power as a polaris. im not much of a yamaha 4x4 fan either lol

@02lb72500HD I'd rather have a rincon WITH 4 WHEEL DRIVE over a big clumsy and ugly box shaped polaris 800. Polarises gearboxes are shit they break down very easy or blow a belt. But all honda gearboxes are similar to the ones used in cars and they don't have belts so they never break down thats just a fact...

Yes rincon is not as powerful as a sportsman but it has something sportsman doesn't have... Reliability

i would love to see that strait axle out pull my grizzly on the road and in mud, my friend has a rancher 350 and i out pulled him on the road so i know what im talking about and in the mud i beat him to so keep thinking that honda is the best, it might be the most reliable but not most power or it definatly isnt the best mudder

ok this kid had a K&N filter on me and performance exhaust. 589's dont even get good road grip. he has stock tires which hug the road more. yall gotta kno wat ur talkin bout. and it aint a bruin. yamaha sucks, get over urself. and that can am prolly would beat us only cuz it weighs more and has a bigger motor. rincon will kill that though :P

u may kill it in a tug of war but in real atv like rock crawling and mudding that yami will tear ya up. tug of war is more of driver skill than the quad. u may not like yami but it will wreck other atvs in tru 4x4 visco lock sucks balls unless its for what i call casual riding. why do u think trucks and rock crawlers dont use limited slip or any thing other than lockin diff?

dude i dont even have a lockin diff and i do just fine in swamp mud with a straight axel. yamahas dont have enough push in them to make it through stuff good. unless its a grizz 660 or 700FI

i dont know how to rate PUSH(not a technical term) cant even figure out if its torque, hp ext. maybe u could use semi proper terms so we might beable to understand you. ok now all i was saying is LIMITED SLIP is not the best for true 4x4 LOCKIN DIFF IS WHAT U NEED. just cause ur not getting stuck doesnt mean its not better. ie: i dont know what terraine u ride on or your personal set up. if you would READ the comment again u might see that it says lockin diff is BEST not the only!!
