Thanks for the advice, but i've decided to go with custom made.

I think it's the way to go especially if you know them and the person building it lives in the same town as you.

Not sure I would trust someone to build it, if I didn't know them or if it was arriving by mail or something.

Gone with the Amd quad core 955 black edition processor,over the intel.

I've never had a gaming pc before, It's exciting stuff.

There seems to be lots of systems in that price range at the eclipse computers website.

And there's one at extremetech pc for $800 that will play crysis at 60 fps.

I was going to see a computer engineer I know, who said he would buy the parts seperatly then build the pc with the componants that I want. What do you think?

Uhh, maybe if u add some tweaks cause he 220 ain;t that great compared to a 9800gt. GT250 and up are wayyy better, but if u do some overclocking and some custom configs u can probably get around high and very high settings.

dude u must of never played crysis hahaha when he went into the advanced settings everything was already set on VERY HIGH and when he click on the choose for all very high was alreasy selected hahaha the only thing he did not set was the anti aliasing quality to x8 then everything would have been put to max also the use hdmi cord and a good quality flat screen tv or screen works for perfection as well for graphics and so far this is the game i've seen so for more relistic graphics so far :p

lol its not because you have a cooling unit installed on it, cooling units are made for PC´s so it can work all day, in other words if you don´t turn it off it will crash after 1 year or something, but with cooling unit it will not crash... If you dont let it turned on all the time then you dont need a cooling unit, I got a PC with GeForce GTX 295 and no cooling unit and it run crysis with max settings and 16AA and it never laggs

Depends heavily on what kind of Graphics Chip you have in your system Beardactal. If you have a Geforce 8XXX or an ATI 3XXX series or greater than yes you could possibly run this game at a low resolution with playable fps on low to medium settings depending on the caliber of the gpu. If your serious about PC gaming, then forget the laptop, unless its a desktop replacement class laptop, and build yourself a gaming Desktop Rig. They don't have power restraints and cooling and hardware is superior.
