  • @pwright9672 Hell ya! Wariner is awesome!

  • Hit #7 in Billboard, 2-7-81. God bless!

  • Today's Country music is shite...

  • This guy's voice reminds me of Kenny Rodger's the 80s had the best music,

nothing like todays Country, they just destoyed it.

  • Today's music is all about a video with a sub par voice accompanied by a sweaty chest or a pair of boobs. Plain and simple. Talent is secondary.

  • Wow, listen to that echo! That's some massive reverb on his voice, sounded like he recorded this in a canyon.

  • Classic! And thank God we have a classic country station that plays this stuff here in Hotlanta!

  • Looking forward to seeing Steve perform in Nashville, TN tomorrow night!

  • Thanks for posting these songs of his! A day rarely went by when I was between 16-23 that I didn't pop in one of his cassettes!

  • i was go QUSAR,it's peachie to riqest at this song it, ilove Steve

  • great song why they never play him anymore ill never know

  • Hi Nicole yeah they never play classic country on the radio. Too bad when your driving would be a great time to listen to it. Thankyou to the people here on youtube that post these classics for our enjoyment.

  • i dont 2 step worth a crap i had a hottie girl friend and if i didnt some one else would. HERES a true story the last time i two stepped steve was playing in denver and i was going around the stage and i was with in 10 feet of steve and he looked at me and gave me as sincere of a smile a human could give another no sex thing it was just from a person who must have a sprit thats often talked about but seldom encountered ill never forget it. and as is only natural we broke up--that big hair..OUCH

  • I have 2 stepped to this song a million times and I still love it!

  • Thank you for posting this. Great song - great singer!

  • I Love That Song ! !

  • I remember when I found out who sang this song... I had to know who sang it!

  • One of My favorite albums of all time. Yea Glen Campbell, but every song is great. For some reason he didn't get the airplay he deserved.

  • i love this man's voice,,so sexy!!

  • I always thought Steve's first album was heavilly influenced by Glen Campbell. Their voices are similar, this song and Southern Nights like you mentioned, By Now and By the Time I Get to Phoenix, and Kansas City Lights to Galveston. Which in no way is this a bad thing. I think it took a couple of albums before he seperated himself as an artist from a Campbell clone.

  • Love love LOVE this song! No you never forget.

  • youve got to try a little kindness .

  • this sounds alot like southern nights by Glen campbell , I love this song alot though!

  • Haven't heard this in 10-15 years. Love it.

  • What a huge talent. Thank you for the great entertainment.

  • my favorite to my ex-husband that i still love!!!

  • Awesome singer / musician. I wish they'd play this music on the radio still. Thanks for posting!

  • What about Kansas City lights?

  • Good music...cool

  • One of my favorites...You never do get over that special someone who dumped you...

  • This song is perfect in every way. I'd venture to say it is the best country heartache song ever. Thanks for posting it!

  • by far the greatest country artist of all time!! i love all of his songs and he has one of the best voices i have ever heard! thanks for the post!

  • Glenn Campbell is good too....

  • steves first top 40 and top 10!

  • This is awesome! Thank you so much for posting this =) Totally made my day.
