  • Bring in that floating fat man...the Baron

  • In the book he's not that fat but just plain fat and a serious clean faced politician who doesn't act like the Joker.

  • @Johnlindsey289 In the book, you could compare Baron Harkonnen to R.R.Martin's Tywin Lannister.

  • @KethamBodds

Indeed and he's also like Caligula and Caesar combined, face it Geidi Prime is just Rome in space

  • @Johnlindsey289 umm yes he was if wasn't why would he have that anti-gravity device?

  • @Johnlindsey289 True, but such an over the top villain really works for the movie. The movie even gives him a few quiet moments that actually made me wonder if his whole insanity thing was just an act to put people off their guard.

  • One of the best Bad guys ever shown, and one that had read the Evil overlords handbook.

  • The Duke will die before these eyes and he'll know HE'LL KNOW! that it is i BARON VLADIMIR HARKONNEN THAT ENCOMPASES HIS DOOM!

  • The Baron is a monster and insane but intelligent as hell

  • the picture from an old Dune book cover?

  • Für den Baron!!

  • Wow this song rocks!

  • @Hexon2 Yikes you should see the part were this song plays, The Baron goes into the air and gets covered in blood then he goes up to a slave and pulls his heart plug out getting blood all over the place including himself then he says to himself something like "this is what im going to do to the Dukes family"

  • @Mider999 He floats up and then he's under this shower head and it covers him in blood then he goes up to the slave pulls the heart plug out covering the slave and himself in blood, and then he is smiling about it. Raban the beast smiles while this is happening while Fayed at times is visually freaked out. The servents of the Baron are also kinda freaked out the Mentat just looks away

  • @Mider999 its oil

  • @Psquit who says?

  • @Mider999 i do, when he start floating he covers himself with oil.

  • @Psquit Why in god's name does he cover himself in oil anyway? That always struck me as odd. The shot of the baron floating with oil dripping down his face is awesome though.

  • @caflagel I think they mentioned that what he covered himself in is blood, since later on, they mentioned that it is connected to the heart, usually where blood is mostly made
