the secret is to have a father who owns a business-get it on fleet insurance. when I was 17 I had my dad's old car which was one of these.luckily my dad has a business so that's what we did.then for my 18th he sold that so I could have a 4.0l Jeep Wrangler :D

what year is your bmw? is an e36 or e 46? cos i for a 320i e36 i got a quote for 550 and for a 325i e36 was 1200 but the 4.6 v8 i got for 1050 and im 22 with a license for only 1 year and a years no clams

Was an E46. Good car but sold it due to slight boredom....... changed it for a mk1 Mazda MX5 and a 1986 BMW 635csi

i loved my 325i e46 was great car even better when i put a turbo on lol! but then sold it now have a 4.6 range which is slower but more my style

same here my friend drives a 2006 range rover vogue!!.. mint! mint sound! it gets the worst of it tho! in threw salt water the works! no brakes or anything on her i drive a 02 1 of them

the P38 is my fav in terms of sound! my best friend had one and wed drive alot in it.. but it surely drank fuel like nothing else... we once drove only 300km before refueling... also it could use a 5th gear;) but my god what a great car!

Brings back mixed memories for me! A truly awesome sound, but the roar of the viscous fan might mean a blocked radiator. However, that simply makes the 4.6 incredibly fuel efficient: I got back from Cornwall and again from Exeter to Bedfordshire without using a drop of fuel (thanks to the AA). I do miss my Rangie, but not enough to wish I still had her.

i loved that car a few years back...havent been in one since. i still think this range rovers own V8 gave the best low sounding grunt out there.
