Ant eggs aka kai muot (mot) they can be eaten raw just like wasp larvae. The ant eggs are normally cooked with egg or cooked in a soup dish.

Strictly speaking what you're eating are ant larvae or probably pupae. The actual eggs really are tiny.

@thaipulsedotcom Ah go on, you know you like it. But seriously, they're cocoons/pupae. The little ant grubs grow, and encase themselves in a thin white cocoon, in which they transform into adult ants. Unless they make it into the movies like these little guys. Ah, the price of fame!

lol - yeah, my g/f said that too... it's usually because I'm trying to figure out - what tastes even a little bit similar to this thing in my mouth. Usually I can't come up with anything. I'm also waiting to be surprised as I burst open the stomach, intestines, cranium, and all the sudden get a mouthful of the true taste of death or decay or something... It's expectation that it's going to get a whole lot worse. So far, nothing has been really hideous and impossible to eat except water bugs.

It was unbelievable in my mind that this guy would still interrupt so I brushed him off like a common dog. lol... If I wasn't in the middle of filming I'd have been nicer. This is my bad side!

I have eaten ants before and with white chocolate. They dont really taste like much but they are crunchy, reminded me of pop rocks with a bit down(the sound i mean)

@thaipulsedotcom in Japan i have witness people eating raw beef and chicken uncooked served with vegatables and never got sick from it, can you eat raw meat like Beef steak or raw chicken uncooked? My thought on this the reason those people did not get sick in Japan because here in America livestocks are poorly mistreated giving the meat exposure to diseases like e-colia and salmonia. If visit Japan someday try some uncook meat.

Actually the guy is not an employee - he's someone that comes around and disturbs people as they're eating lunch to ask if they want to buy legal or illegal lottery tickets. The guy saw I was doing something, and still interrupted me. I feel bad now - not then.

The camera is just a Sony Cybershot set at .5 meter focus (the autofocus sucks on the cybershots - better to prefocus) - 640x480 resolution with 30 frames per second. Edited with windows movie maker and saved in "high quality" format. Easy stuff... thanks for commenting...
