  • This is absolutely beautiful. I'm not Armenian or Christian, but you do not need to be either to understand such a magical song. The tale behind this song is heartbreaking :(.

Long Live Armenia and its amazing musical tradition. This is so beautiful that words cannot truly describe its essence. Thank you.

  • MAGNIICENT !

  • Beautiful and very spiritual music. I hope that one day the "monophysite", orthodox, and catholic churches will again unite, hopefully against any and all religious extremism.

God bless Armenia, from the Greek Orthodox church

  • Плачу

  • JESUS CHRIST IS A WHITEBOY !!!

  • ♫♪♫♪ღ♥☺

  • THE ONE WHO IS SINGING IS AN ANGEL

  • @TheMistAnchorite I NDEED SHE'S AN ANGEL! HER NAME IS ARMENUHI SEIRANIAN .

I CONSIDER HER VOICE ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AFTER LUCINE ZAKARIAN.

  • THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONG IN THE WORLD.....MISS MY MOM....:((((

  • This is so beautiful. Makes me proud to be Armenian.

The sculpture at 1:20, who is that by or what is it called?

  • @victoriahj It is called "Piety" and was sculpted by Michelangelo. It's the most stunning sculpture I have ever seen, he was truly a special artist. A quote by him: "I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free."

  • To think that her son & God's son were the same. That in this moment, God & all of humanity were united in watching their one common son dying. How can anyone doubt the unique & supreme dignity of the Blessed Virgin.

  • Especially when your sweet Mother has passed - this is so very moving - I'm sitting here crying - I call out to her often and miss her very much

  • the picture at 3.12 is that famous. who painted it.

  • Very nice!!!!

  • thank you for great music!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Faith doesn't care...only who can open his heart to others can love...I mean just love eachothers...this is the message I feel with this song.

"deacons sing it during good friday ceremony, once in year"

  • What a voice... great video. thx

    Marie K.

  • Every Year I wait to listen to this song on Maundy Thursday KHAVAROOM

The most sacred night in the Armenian Church

Beautiful Song for the most Beautiful Religion.

  • tears ran down my cheeks and I am not normally like that

  • Even though, I am a Muslim Turk, I love this religious spiritual old hymn, her voice like an angel from heaven..It made me connect to our creator, to universal energy, to the highest level of feelings of pure soul and heart.

    Incredible...

    Thank you for sharing.

  • @WorldPeaceUnion Divine music can connect all human beings together, we are ONE family. Peace.

  • @The3antarofLeb

Thank you for your kind reply. I am agree with you.

Divine music is a bridge between us , humanbeings..We are ONE family..

    Greetings..

  • @The3antarofLeb If only everyone thought like that. We are all human beings born basically the same. Why cant we respect each others differences, their beliefs etc? What does it matter what piece of land we live on? I hate the whole 'us and them' type of thinking which divides us.

  • @ADyingFaith We connect to the land we live on, take care of it, we are guardians and stewarts of the Earth. Expansionasm, colonialism and greed are all signs of not being rooted to Mother and seeking only after selfish gains. We are all one, but some of us are blindly evil.

  • genial,gracias,divina voz,divina liturgia,que DIOS nos bendiga,AMEN

  • On devrait mettre ce chant superbe pouraccompagner les images du

    génocide, car beaucoup sont morts

    pour garder leur foi chrétienne.

  • Composer and period unknown;one of several Armenian laments describing during

the Crucifixion when vinegar was given to

thirsting Jesus.the strings sing a mournful accompaniment, the flute and

strings softly close each verse with a tragic dignified cadence. The mood recalls

the Russian poet Valery Prussov's description of Armenian music"it expresses sorrow without despair".

    The vocalist is Armenuhi Seiranian.

  • @keghamminas

Thank you Keghamminas jan... just cry and i let a part from my pain, to go out from my soul, because was too, too much for me.

  • Armenia will always be the first christian nation.God bless all christian nations.

  • Yes. In God we trust.

We've to stand united against the ennemies of Christianity.

We've to help each other, and re-discover our brotherhood, and get rid off of those stupid people like Georgian President bombing his own Christian minorities...
