  • i can hear them lol

  • wow.... "epic fail video" should be the title of this

  • If it's a screw worn flush, just unscrew it put PLIOBOND CEMENT in hole,

screw the screw back in & tire is fixed.

  • @Fladavenue Fixed? Fucked, more like! That's a dangerous thing to do.

  • i must point out that its a tempary fix dnt need to b used in a town just use the spare. very handy when out bush tho. when u reach a town see a mechanic and ask him if it will hold trust me some tires just shoot the blug out

  • Love using plugs! It has saved me many times. I like the fact that most times you can plug a tire before much air escapes and go on your way. Plus the plug kits cost very little in comparison to repair at a tire shop!

  • You failed to do 2 things before plugging the hole: 1. ream out the puncture and 2. apply bonding compound to the hole before inserting the plug.

Or maybe you did these steps and failed to put them in your instructional video.

  • @NoExpert76 Reaming a hole that large can compromise the integrity of the tyre itself. So the repair was correct. Applying vulcanising glue is optional also. The man repaired the tyre quite properly under the circumstances.

  • @bluebus270 The integrity of the tire is already compromised once it's been punctured. You ream in and out a couple of times to make sure the puncture is uniform and clean, and so the plug has a good bonding surface with some grip. Omitting that step and omitting the adhesive only reduces the integrity of a repair, and increases the likelihood that the plug will fail. It's best to do the repair by the instructions and use the included tools to ensure a good bond and long lasting repair.

  • Should have just left that dang nail in there! It acts as a plug!

  • @Faztlan I remember i had a nail in my car and my dad just told me to leave it in because nothing will happen if it stayed in the tire.

  • @ajhgfhgjbjhbjhb Leaving a nail in a tyre is not a good thing to do. They work lose over time, can become dislodged if you go over a bump in the road, and can result in catastrophic failure at speed. It is an offence in the UK to drive with a nail in a tyre.

  • @killerdalek yeah thats true. but i got rid of those tires i have new ones now.

  • @Faztlan Until it blows out!

  • thats not how to fix a tire all a plug does is prevent air from escaping, a plud oes not reinforce the possible broken belts inside possibly leading to a belt speration or tire failure ask your local tire pro if they reccomend plugggong or patching, my bet is they say the reccomend a combination repair 1 a plug to prevent the belts from contamination and 2 a patch to reinforce the injury area
