  • Ever saw a monk holding a DSLR?

  • In many ways this is like a long-term community centre or boy scouts thing. And they are happy and healthy. I feel very happy to see this happen. Thank you for uploading.

  • Enlightened monk. Stop these stupid pre-concepts about what buddhism should be or not. Buddha himself said that the dharma´s goal is to promote happines. This monk found a way to teach through nature, horses and muay thai. These children are being formed very well, with a strong character, and they will make a good life ever, because they will have no doubts about what it´s wrong and right.

  • ???? they not allow to ride an animal soooooo that mean u r going to bring them food. so stupid, if u know nothing then need not to voice your opinion, they're doing well for learn to depend on self and appreciate the nature that u on the other hand will never know how important that is to our human race.

  • They are still novices and playful so they need some recreation. We can't expect these kid monks to meditate full time just like the adult monks. If they are living in the mountain area there should be some sort of mode of transport. The horse is the best.

  • Thank you

  • this is totally against Buddha's teaching.

monks aren't allowed to raise animals. they're supposed to stay at the monastery.

I remember this, it was on the lao channel news. They were talking about how inappropriate it was.

  • Depends on the sect of Buddhism. Some have very strict rules on all kinds of things (like even touching money), others do not.

  • these day Monk is no more 100% holy. As long as monk has 75% holy. It's o k for monk to be economically greedy, have fun, and so.....on in order to survive in this century monk need reform

    marriage is o k, too

  • @tojtaug

    wtf are you talking about?

    you're an idiot.

  • @jakeychan87 Yes, correct you are Buddhist monks are not allowed to ride on animals. It is not appropriate even to drive vehicles for them.

  • @lumalive

i never heard of that. Usually if the monks can't drive or don't have a driver licence we take them.
