I've been vegan(mostly raw, some other stuff here and there...) I've lost weight, feel happier, body/face acne is clearing up, cravings are gone etc.. BUT i had my period for 2 weeks straight followed by a yeast infection(sorry tmi..), weight loss is starting to plateu, and i always just feel like eating...am i doing anything wrong?
wow. seriously, thank you for this video. i really was drawn into your video, you give out good information, and explain pretty well. im thinking of becoming a vegetarian. because ive been eating chicken and im starting to kinda get sick of it cuz i think too much on how it was an animal. and u are very right about the family stuff. my parents wont like the idea of it. but i think its great but hard. my mom cooks chicken almost every day. i will definitely do my research. thank you :)
@Quran871 There are two main issues: health and animal torture. I want the best health I can have during this short stint on Earth, therefore I do not put death and rot into my mouth and body. I also see the need for compassion in this world, helping those who suffer, not raping and torturing and murdering them. So, for me, the healthy path for both my mind and body, is to stop torturing animals for the pleasure of chewing on their carcass, thereby I ingest 0 sat fat, 0 LDL, 0 cruelty, etc.
you are exacly right about the people around you treathing you diffrently, its been 6 years i'm vegetarian and i still have to tell my friends that i cant eat that burger at wendys, normally they will ask me why, look at me weirdly, and think im "not normal" like you said... i never had any deficientsys (sorry for my bad english) i just simply take a bit of vitamines. btw im only 16 :) and dont plan on eating meat anytime soon :D
My parents are mad at me. Wanna know why? Because I'm a vegetarian (and also because I'm anaemic and I have an eating disorder (SED and a bit of othorexia...that's nothing to be mad at me for.) Anyways, I don't eat meats. I do eat eggs though, because I have to (I don't eat nuts and other sources of protein....don't like 'em). A lil advice to vegans and vegetarians is to make sure you've done your research, seen a doctor, do what yo uhave to do to avoid illnesses due to your new diet..
Thank you for posting this information. I am slowly moving toward raw vegan. I was a vegetarian for 3 years in college when I lived alone. After college and getting married, I ate what the rest of the family did. Now I have stopped eating meat after watching earthlings about a month ago. I am lactose intollerant, but was not serious enough about cutting it out of my diet. Seeing you & others on youtube show what you eat is inspiring. Keep it up!
hi im graduly going vegitarian i would go vegan but i think id be to hard on me bc all id be able to eat is like nuts, bread, fruits and vegitbles and it seems like almost alll meals home made u have to add milk to it so can u take like viduim seplaments or something?
im 17, and want to go vegetarian but i dont want to talk to my parents especially my dad because he use to butcher meat for a living. so im thinking about just eating meating once a week or something so they dont figure out, or waiting till i graduate and move out. any tips?
late response but vegans/vegetarians don't eat, meat/dairy usually for the animals too.. just because it's a fish doesn't mean it doesn't feel pain and mourns for it's family, they have as much feeling as a cat or a dog, and fish contains alot of toxic chemicals like mercury...
My family didnt take it well. i wanted to become a vegetarian. well im only 13, my parents were mean to me at first and really didnt want me to be one. but they got over it and started getting me stuff that i could eat that didnt contain meat. i feel great and i have so much energy. i used to be fat and i know what your thinkins she cant be fat shes only 13 well i was. i have been a vegetarian for almost a month and i have lost a ton of weight
yo get to the dam point four minutes into the video and he's still calling this homo talk...YO GET TO THE DAM POINT! Alright I'm gonna go throw up now cus this video made me nauseous

i tried be 100% raw today...its cool and i can definately see myself there in the future .im a vegitarian now ..but i think im going to step it up a notch to 80% raw and pure vegan no dairy eggs ect.
I recently converted and your so right about the family thing my parents live in a verry small town in the country and eat meat atleast twice a day they freaked out when i told them( they thought I was going to try to live on salad) lol your right knowledge is power I showed them everything I knew and they reduced there meat intake as well. I also thank you for the cancer awareness plug 3 out of 4 people in my family die of cancer my grandmother gave me a necklace that says I love you on it and
i love being vegetarian. i vegetarian about 8 years. i love save animals. i still chubby but, i need to work on that part. animals i am saving because i am vegetarian.
ive been vegetarian for 6 months and im NEVER going back :) i dont think i could ever be vegan though, i love dairy food :) but my family was like what the hell?
i feel healthier and ive noticed my skin is soo much better! but i did notice my weight.. i was about half a stone underweight anyway cause i have a high metabolism but now im nearly a stone underweight.. my mums trying to get me off it but theres noo way im going back :)
I say those who don't want to change and want to eat the burger and fry's will have no choice but to come around to a vegan or raw or vegan and raw diet in a future life time because it simply is the only sustainable solution to many problems on our earth.
You are so right about the diet being 80% of your weight. Sure I love to run and lift weights, and I am very lucky I get to do so BUT I notice that all the people who say it's not diet, it's just exercise when it comes to weight loss. Those people are all fat!
ive recently became a vegetarian. is there any specific types of food i should be eating? the first few weeks ive been alert and feeling really healthy but recently ive been feeling drowsy and tired. am i missing some vitimans from my diet do you think?
i went vegetarian recently and its only been a short amount of time but i feel soo much better , i wake up feeling better, i can walk farther , i lost about 5lbs my first 3 days vegetarian, as someone whos always been over weight i dont even crave meat at all , im 22 and i feel the best i ever have before in my life , i just have so much energy now , its awesome
I want to marry you right now for talking about allergies to milk!!! It is something that many people are not aware of and just by coming off of eating dairy products could save someone's life!
Those who are vegan for ethical reasons should understand that the major cancer-research organisations throughout the world do attempt to make breakthroughs regarding cancer cures by actually giving the disease to non-human animals and then trying preventative treatments on them. Congratulations on your weight loss. I am vegetarian myself. I know what vegan is. I have vegetarian all my life. You need to know how to cook good vegetarian foods. I do.

I've been raw vegan for 9 weeks now, and am loving how I feel. I think my friends and family are waiting for me to go off this diet like I've gone off a hundred others. No way!!! I feel too good. And my weight is slowly coming off. But this isn't about weight. It's about health and energy and vitality. I'm soon to be 62 years old and I wish I had been willing to do this before. It is so easy.I plan at some time to be slightly less than 100% but not much. I don't miss anything yet. Thanks, G

good video sean. what you talked about regarding your dad reminds me a lot of my own "tough time" that i've been having since a loved one passed away.
good info about vegetarian/vegan, etc. i am researching.
Day after day, year after year, a person's body becomes a living graveyard for an uncountable amount of dead animals.

What do most people, correction; I should say most Americans do when a loved one dies. We have a service and or gatherings to pay our respects and to say goodbye. Then usually we bury or cremate the bodies. We process the deceased in the way we do for a handful of reasons, but certainly for disease control, and for many people, the idea of a wild animal eating their deceased loved ones flesh is unhumane and unthinkable.
Your right Sean. As a person makes the switch to a vegan life style and after a brief adjustment period, you begin to feel like a million dollars. You begin to notice many benefits. One benefit is the reawakening of your taste buds and sense of smell. Another is an almost endless amount of energy. The list goes on and on.

I'm so sorry about your dad :-( I'm glad you can wear his ring now. You look fantastic dude, absolutely glowing! I really need to take the processed foods out of my diet, I've been becoming a bit of a junkfood vegan over the last few, very stressful, months.
shhhhhhh... If I talk about it in a video...I think it is OK... It is hard to stay 100 vegan raw...and I have to admit, I have slacked a bit in the last few stressful months too...
i love how you show the pink breast cancer bracelet my mother passed from breast cancerand im sorry to hear about your father you look great by the way!how long did it take you to lose all that weight? that's interesting about the dairy i bet i am i get eczema alot on my hands and stuff ok what are you eating? i want to do this so bad but do you have a video that tell people what you eat? cause im interested .thanks for this take care and godbless
I'm interested - what do YOU eat to ensure that you get all the right proteins and nutrients? Particularly in the raw category? Are there particular books you recommend for doing research?
I knew it would be awesome. I agree with everything you said... it is true and really good for you and the world as well. Keep it up, I really admire Raw Foodies :-D
As for people feeling as if they're on the outside because of a new dietary lifestyle, I've experienced that... What I find is that being open to their views, their lifestyle, etc, while not relenting on your own builds a newfound respect and an even stronger bond.
I've been vegan(mostly raw, some other stuff here and there...) I've lost weight, feel happier, body/face acne is clearing up, cravings are gone etc..
