  • Awesome playing and singing, I really love this style of banjo playing, think i'm gonna dig out my beat banjo and try an learn lol.

  • Thanks, I won't be able to sleep now until i figure out how to play this one, It is an absolutely haunting tune, well done

  • @dasilvaec i figured it out

  • This is Awesome!

I think Sawmill tuning is also called "Mountain Minor?"

    AWESOME! I LOVE IT!

  • I thought your banjo playing was good then I heard you sing, you should really record an album, I'd buy one. The sort of music you play is exactly why I learn the banjo. Thanks a lot.

  • @spudnik1314 Thanks for your kind words. Good to know my obscure sounds are appreciated.

  • I like this, very nice indeed.

  • Do you have literature or anything that could help me learn this? It's a rough one by ear

  • @deathbybagpipes Hi. I pretty much created this version myself so don't have anything I can share with you. It's in sawmill (gDGC#D) with a capo on the 4th fret to suit me singing voice. I have a 5th string capo to raise the 5th string to B. Don't try tuning the 5th string up to B or it will snap! Just play it lower down. Good Luck!

  • this is truley awesome...subbed, liked and favorited...

  • absolutely wonderful.

  • @lindairisharab Thanks Linda...Guess you like the lunar references!

  • Thanks Liam. Great work. It is precise these modal tunes that made me fall in love with the banjo
