okpanam1: This risk involved in using the chemicals is very high if you don't know what you're doing. Buy some books on electroplating or you'll be able to find a whole heap at your local library before you even think about trying plating for the first time. There are also heavy regulations regarding the waste which has to be disposed of properly to avoid not only harm to people but also the environment. Find a plater in your local area and ask if they would be willing to train you in (cont)
