I think i read that Topher told Ashton he wouldn't sign the release form if he got punkd(they need a release form in order to air the prank) because he didn't think it would be good for his career/image.

Topher didn't really get along with Danny Masterson for sure, there is a quote of Masterson saying he and Topher just had different personalities.

Topher and Wilmer were good friends, dunno about Ashton though. E! made them out to be rivals, but E! is also filled made-up drama.

there was a lot of friction because he was leaving the show. Everyone else on the show got along really well, and at first all the kids did as well, but as time went on Topher and the rest of them had different personalities. There wasn't hostility but they were just different

But leaving the show and then not even coming back except for 2 minutes in the final episode and then even then taking off right after his scene was done, just rubbed people the wrong way. Ashton came back alot.
