@rancidsexbeast , yes both places just went crazy , nirvana could have sold out the point theatre 10 times , probably thee best ever gig i went to was the foo fighters in 95 in the sfx dublin , original line up, place only holds a thousand people , it was just mental , seen other bands but nothing could come close to these three ,

Well... I play in a Smiths tribute, and I like to think we do OK! But you're absolutely right. 90% of the game is just trying to figure out what the hell he's doing in the first place! There isn't guitarist on the planet whose stuff I'd take this kinda time to try to figure out note for note... except Johnny. He's an absolute wizard!

is this you trying to bum exactly what noel gallagher says ? there are smiths tribute bands and theyre pretty decent too. just gallagher can't play them because he's not that good a guitar player. people can play johnny marr's stuff there's enough decent evidence of that on here! saying this johnny i the fucking man and i have to agree he is the best, most unique player ever
