  • Thanks Suan, that was simple enough. My edges that I need to seam are chain edges. Any suggestions how I can seam the squares with a chain edge? I slipped the first stitch purlwise and knitted the last.

  • Hi Susan,

I'm also new to knitting. I made a big goof when making the squares. I didn't leave enough tail after casting on and off.

How can I seam the squares after I run out of yarn in the tail? Lots of thanks!

  • @hbradshaw310 you will have to seam with a length of yarn on a yarn needle, just weave in the extra ends.

  • How do I get my knitting to look like this? I know it has patterns in it, but I'm talking about how it is so close-knitted. My knitting is really 'holey' and is really amateur looking.

  • @glennrobbo85 sounds like you have a gauge issue. try using smaller needles.

  • Hi Susan! I'm a new knitted, and I desperately want to make this blanket for my best friend's soon to come baby. The only part that scares me is the border. I checked out the instructions and tutorials on the blog also. Can you help with the border portion? Many, many thanks!

  • how do you make the corners of your squares so.... square! mine seem so rounded out. :(

  • @pamelaann0304 hmmm... blocking would work for you i think.

  • I cant find the pattern on the site:(

  • @thatcaligirl it's on the sidebar, there is a thumbnail photo of the blanket to click on.

  • What were the dimensions of the squars? what size needels did you use?

  • Wow this is REALLY helpful :)

thanks hun, and I am expecting this to be a very beautiful blanket =)
