hello Professor I've been watching her v long channel
I must say I thought about not telling I think sometimes there are more comments here of those who can respond humanaente
in the end
I will do it anyway: I believe you are a very sensitive and talented
I admire your spirit I like you spread the love you have for the music you are a very special person and I thank you very much glad to share his gift with the world and take the time to teach us
I lost the count on how many times I've watched this so far, haha. Absolutely gorgeous performance, I wish I'll be able to play with such emotion someday. :)
This is so beautiful. I love seeing family members perform together. I am going back to school to finish my music degree and picking up the violin again after many years of not playing. You are very inspirational and I will keep coming back to your videos for more. Thank you!
@professorV btw im looking at the net of the music of the piece...i cant find the exact piece the your are playing...is it the original of the is for piano?
looking at you while you are playing...its look like the piece is very simple...but its not.... your just one of the best player out there.. again thanks for sharing your knowledge for free.. :) its a big help to us.. even to me...your my teacher / sir :)
If I'm correct, the first movement is also in the 8th Suzuki book, which I'm gonna get into in a few days, so watching this makes it all that more exciting!
I was actually listening to this recently. Its in suzuki book 8 I believe. Im very intrigued by the way Bach used melodic minor here, it sounds very ominous. Many thanks for uploading, it must be a pleasure to play with family....
I love the sound of the violin! It's relatively new, I see in the description. I'm playing on a violin that's about 3 months old by a maker who isn't quite well-known yet. It's amazing how much I was able to shape it because I'm the only person to ever own it.
@Baytuch, Yes, you can really break them in! It took a couple of years of heavy playing before it sounded the same (to me) from one day to the next. The breaking-in process can really frustrate people that are sensitive to it, so perhaps an older violin is best for them. I love playing this violin more than ever now.
Great! I like this piece, actually all of Bach's sonatas are gorgeous! It may be very cool having all the family involved in music. I wish I could play something with my parents, too :)
This song is brilliant. I had never hear beyond the 'intro' part. This song is in the Suzuki Method, in book 8 I believe. But it's named only 'Allegro', so I couldn't ever find an interpretation of this song. It really is amazing. And played by you, even better. Wonderful skills Todd, I just know someday I'll be as good as you ;).
Thank you for this great Video! I am actually taking lessons with Richard Fuchs right now, and about to go to UNC in the Fall. Thank you for the inspiration!!
