  • So little gives me goose bumps nowadays in this sad world that we live in. But your craft still does it. Thank you.

  • @professorV anything, that's what I want to study and everything can be wanting! = D

  • @4eeveerr - ahhh, I get it!

  • Professor, IIRC you had a video playing Telemann piece in solo. I want to watch it again but now I can't find it. Care to explain?

  • I was actually listening to this recently. Its in suzuki book 8 I believe. Im very intrigued by the way Bach used melodic minor here, it sounds very ominous. Many thanks for uploading, it must be a pleasure to play with family....

  • I love you and your family, great musicians. I learn a lot from you.

  • Really a very beautiful and moving piece, and you have a great family. My wishes.

  • gran interpretacion!llena de vida.bravo!saludos desde colombia.

  • Hi, ELCUATE54. Thanks for taking the time to leave a nice comment. Best Wishes!

  • I love the sound of the violin! It's relatively new, I see in the description. I'm playing on a violin that's about 3 months old by a maker who isn't quite well-known yet. It's amazing how much I was able to shape it because I'm the only person to ever own it.

Keep up the great work :)

  • @Baytuch, Yes, you can really break them in! It took a couple of years of heavy playing before it sounded the same (to me) from one day to the next. The breaking-in process can really frustrate people that are sensitive to it, so perhaps an older violin is best for them. I love playing this violin more than ever now.

  • Very beautifull piece by Ehle Family, great ! :)

  • Thanks, violon78!

  • a "Biberesque" piece !!! very Stylvs Fantasticvs !!! ♥

I'm happy to see you play with mum !!! :-)

  • @PeriodinstrumentfaN - Thanks, Ron. I really appreciate your kind words!

  • Great! I like this piece, actually all of Bach's sonatas are gorgeous! It may be very cool having all the family involved in music. I wish I could play something with my parents, too :)

  • Hi ezrabach - Sort of like the Partridge Family, only less cool... I love Bach's violin works, too.

  • what an amazing family you are. Thank you so much.

  • Hi pchrtnuse, nice to hear from you again! Hope all is well.

  • This song is brilliant. I had never hear beyond the 'intro' part. This song is in the Suzuki Method, in book 8 I believe. But it's named only 'Allegro', so I couldn't ever find an interpretation of this song. It really is amazing. And played by you, even better. Wonderful skills Todd, I just know someday I'll be as good as you ;).

    Bravo!

  • sound like a final boss stage from a mario game...

  • u r my maestro

  • I hadn't met this work before. Each and every one of Bach's works for violin is just amazing.

  • Hi pooispoois, I agree, Bach is brilliant beyond words.

  • Thank you for this great Video! I am actually taking lessons with Richard Fuchs right now, and about to go to UNC in the Fall. Thank you for the inspiration!!

    Back to practicing,

  • Wow! I keep wanting to listen to this. Thanks for posting and who cares about the bumpy ride. :)

  • Absolutely a gorgeous performance! Looks like an Allen organ? Great balance!

  • Hi rttipton, Thank you! The organ was made in Canada by Casavant. I actually wouldn't have known that, except we were talking about it at the time.

  • Like father and mother, like son. :)

A marvellous interpretation, thanks for sharing.
