L.A. Noire IS a great game... IF you have the patience to go through it. The plot is actually pretty slow as it builds up gradually. It IS a police game, but unlike many other games based around cops, it is not only the action, there are also scenes where you must solve small puzzles and find evidence, then use that evidence to question suspects. It is a very good game, but although it is developed by Rockstar Games, the GTA mentality is not way to go.
