  • Hey I tried these yesterday on the lat pulldown and could barely get 1! I was certain I'd be able to pull off at least 5-8 reps but boy was I wrong. Thanks for the tip on using the bosu ball. I'll try these next leg day until I get strong enough no to need it.

  • For some reason i feel like i would break my legs.

  • I cant even do one!

    WHY?

  • @armenianderick Because it's really hard. I can just do one now, but if I want to do a few I have to push off the floor with my fingers. Use a more fingers and it's easier (obv).

  • this is an excellent idea - well done!

  • This is a brilliant idea, my gym doesn't have a GHR so I can finally do them, just gotta put a yoga mat or something under my knees.

  • Even on a GHR machine, it doesn't feel that good on the knees unless it's a brand new one. We have three older models @the Y and they all suck.

  • tried it this way last week... it raised hell on my knees. Def won't try it again without a true GHR machine

  • Good idea, Im gonna try it next week cause I just did improvised GHR on a yoga mat with my feet locked under a squat rack and it doesnt feel good. Its like my knee caps are moving...

  • And coming off explosively ) will increase dynamic power. (I would have my athletes coming off more explosively than this even Off bosu or other platform from this distance up, from the floor when on the floor (or on the bosu with the knees)

    I think its great : )

  • @MichaelaEllen2012 but the more explosively you're doing it the more you're ignoring what the exercise is actually used for. glutes/hams as is stated in the name. dynamic power just makes it easy.

  • @sstslayer He's doing it this way because he's not strong enough to do it without bouncing off the bosu ball. Nothing wrong with that while he builds strength to do it.

  • Yes... why a bosu?

  • Why are you bouncing off a bosu?

  • @def1l3r Why not? It's a good safety and the flat side means it stays in place.
