@Fabouss Well, one is a Large MMO, and the other is more focused on single player campaign. But GW actually started before skyrim you know ;) 1 year before or so. And with the ammount of innovations ANET has delivered, and now with GW2, i don't think there will ever be an MMO like this one. I mean, where else can you have your own personal story? Dynamic Events? Dynamic combat, where one can block, dodge, execute combos, etc. And an ever changing world? Someone will have to try really hard.

@WaterCrystalline well no actually, skyrim is the 5th game of The Elder Scrolls series which existed wayyyyyy before gw. and what I meant is, skyrim is a single player game, gw2 a mmo. Not comparable at all. in skyrim you have much more possibilities than gw2 as you can kill the npc you'd like, like a random guys sleeping in his bed in a house right in the middle of the city. Become what you want, break the law if you wish, this you can't do in gw2 or any online game.

Quests randomly generate all over the world, effectively giving it unlimited content (Don't even try to argue against this point; Bethesda have done the same thing for TESV: Skryrim), there's a system in place that means grinding for levels is neither required or recommended, and it's B2P.

They've been working on this for around half a decade, so I doubt it will fail to meet the standards everyone expects.

Becouse blizzard are stupid idiots that only want money but the game fails and it will loose all its members and by making it F2P they will atleast get some people(that are stupid enough to play WoW) to join their stupid community and start the grind fest of their live.

@Ex7a5y lol i can tell ya, alot of people gona be playing this game at start and like OMG ITS SOOO GOOD, after a while once they hit the lvl cap they gona switch back to wow, cause theres no mmo out atm that has better content once you hit the lvl cap. Yes i agree that wow is kind of grindy but thats just a way of getting to the lvl cap, once your theres its the fun part of the game that people enjoy, "raiding/PVP" + blizzard introducing some new dungeon in the new 4.3 patch soon.

My opinion is that RIFT , Guild of Wars 2 , AION they have better graphics than WOW and it's this particular area that WOW has lost the war if we can say with the other Games. If Blizzard decide to change there engine and create better quality graphics like the other games have i believe it will win the players again. WoW 2 would attract millions back to the Blizzard scene. However, that is a HUGE risk for Blizzard. If they were to go out and spend the surprising amount of money to create a new WoW engine for a sequel, it is a massive risk. It has the potential to bring Blizzard way down. Not only would they be creating a new game, but still maintaining and fixing the millions of problems there are currently KNOWN with the first WoW. It's not happening in the foreseeable future basically.

Guild Wars is what got me into MMOs and I moved on to WoW from there. Played Wow for 4 years and quit about 4 months after Cata. Guild Wars 2 looks amazing and I know that it is gonna explode with subscribers. Will it kill WoW? Probably not. But with this and SWTOR coming out, together they can take away a big chunk of WoW's subscribers.

alright, to those saying that this looks boring so the game must be boring....lemme clear something up: Whoever was playing this character is either specifically demo-ing skills...or is just terrible at the game. They take forever to use a skill, they fail at managing the initiative resource properly, mouse click skills....and most of all they DO NOT WEAPON SWAP. I played this game at pax and with proper weapon swapping and managing cooldowns you can pull some amazing things, that look badass
