I am so going to use this in school whenever people try and act like God is the reason for their messed up life. Its not God. It never was Him and never will be. People always make terrible choices and then we sit there and try to blame someone else for our bad actions. People cant even blame the Devil because the Devil just puts that evil thought into our minds so we just act on it. Tonight I am so going to ask God for forgiveness if I have ever blamed something on Him that he didnt do.
I am soooooo going to use this in school whenever some of my friends try and act like its God's fault as to why this world is so jacked up! And what I dont get is, why do people blame God? There is a Devil in life! So why blame God? And not only that people still have choices so what do you mean that God did it? You know I really would love to see the looks on people's faces when they see God face to face.
Oh wow It wasn't God's fault when he flooded the world and massacre the innocent Animals and Babies in Noah's time. I mean we thank God for Hitler causing the holocaust killing all the Jews, because God is not responsible for it. We thank God because the laws he given us that its OK to stone disobedient Children when their brain is still in development. I pray for God that one day he will finish of humanity and just end it AMEN.
There is a parasitic worm which gets in peoples bodies which can eat their eyes for back to front. 25,000,000 people are infected. Did man create this worm and the 60,000 parasites which infect the human body or did god or did they evolve. Did man create malaria, polio, smallpox, plague, cholera, typhus, measles or the thousands of other diseases man is susceptible to or did god or did the evolve?
@bigpchamber Thanks for you comment my friend. The short answer to your question is when God completed His creation, everythng was good. Perfect. It was only after man exercised his free will and rebelled against God that suffering entered the world. From that day forward, the world did indeed, in a sense, de-volve. Who's fault? Man's, not God's. Also, we do believe in micro or small evolution. That can easily explain the rise and spread of diseases. Thanks again!
@bigpchamber I'd say its neither just nor moral that many suffer because of the sin of one man. But that's the world we live in, a world created by sinful man as he has exercised his free will. Had God not given us a free will, such injustices would not occur.
@Ads4Christ God being all powerful could correct the suffering but chooses not to. What would be my moral position if I saw someone drowning who i could rescue at no risk to myself but choose not to? Could i claim that person had already exercised their free will so they had to take the consequences?
@bigpchamber So...you'd rather God created us as a robots my friend? Without free wills? It's one or the other. If we have a free will, we can do either good or bad, and more times than not, man chooses the bad and we and others suffer. If we had no free will, then it would be a perfect world. That, of course, is called-heaven. You're right on this point, now that we have a free will, we can and should choose to use it for good.
@Ads4Christ I would rather have free will, but can't we have free will without worms that eat our eyes? Why would God let a baby be born without a brain? These examples have nothing to do with free will.
I disagree with the premise that most of the suffering in the world is caused by man. Most suffering come from nature.
@bigpchamber We may never fully know why God allows some things. What we can know, is that all pain can be traced back to man's sin, and that God always brings good out of the bad things of life for those who love Him and His Son, Jesus. The best example is Christ. God allowed Him to be brutalized and crucified, but look at the great good God brought from that? Christ's suffering is our gain. I believe that principle is at work in all suffering we see and experience.
@bigpchamber Someone once said: "If the mind of man could completely comprehend the mind of God, God would be no greater than the mind of man." There are some things we humans will never fully comprehend.
I have to admit that as an Atheist, I found this video to be quite compelling. You present your argument well and quite honestly I have no retort. Hasn't changed my mind, but it was a very good video. Food for thought ;)
I like it! Great analogy! It is all about HIM - in whom was NO iniquity found! The PURE spotless lamb that gives us access to GOD who is and has always been HOLY!
im just going to point out something, out of ALL of the religions in the world, how can u be SURE that this "religion" is right? After all Christianity is a break off of Judaism in around 2000 years ago.. So in reality, Christianity is some what/is Judaism.. If i had a religion, which i don't. I would probally go with one of the earliest religions, that came from a smart race.. Ex: The mayans were the most Smart people in their time, and if they existed today they would stiil be the smartest.
If you want to abolish evil, exterminate mankind! Evil has it's home inside the human heart because we are the only one species with awareness and morally valuable behaviour. There are blows of fate no one is responsible for like some illnesses or nature catastrophes, that's just physics. But it isn't fair, too. I like the deistic concept: GOD creates us but let us do.
this was an excellent presentation, many unbelievers will benefit greatly of this. I recall a time when these very questions were constantly on my mind, it was not until I was later born again that this truth became known to me by my own study
Great point, and God allows such evil to persist in this world to show us His mercies, to glorify Himself. A light is only really seen as bright when its in the dark.
That was a great video,Some dont realize that God allowed his only son to willingly die on a cross for our sins Any father knows that would be the most painful thing you could ever have happen to you But God loves us so much that he did and Christ loves us so much that he chose to die for our sins out of this act of free will came the greatest love and joy to mankind for all eternity the Resurrection of our Savior Lord Jesus Christ, and through Christ we find comfort from the bad that happens
wow! the analogy at the end really boosted my understanding, i was always a christian but i sometimes had my doubts when it came to that. amazing video!
Wonderful message. Thank you for creating this. ELOHIM's love for us is unfathomable none the less HE loves us unconditionally. We can love only because HE first loved us. May Y'HSUA continue to bless, guide, and direct you upon HIS narrowing path to endure all to the end. <(^8

God allows evil because He turns it into good eventually.
Man is the one who turns good into evil.
God is the One who turns evil into good.

For those who do not believe in God,
