here in new zealand thats pretty much everyday flying. we have the most helicopters per capita in the world here and when we use them for deer culling and recovery and cattle mustering this is the norm. maybe a little slower than that, but not much!

Like i said it was the demonstraion for the German army, notice the bright orange flight suits, test pilots where them, look at any testing of aircraft they always where orange suits. Yeah Charly Zimmerman knew to fly these machines....but its realy the standard situation for Anti Tank Missions in Germanys narrow forests and landscapes...so all Pilots are trained to fly the way shown in this video...nice video...shows some skills of the pilot thats for sure....
Just another reason why I fly helos as opposed to planes! You just can't do half the things with a plane you can with a helo. Dangerous but awesome flying nonetheless!

Everyday flying hmm? At this speed this isnt everyday flying at all, its just amazing.
BTW, Mr Zimmermann was the first to do real heli aerobatics.
And the speed isnt increased, its just perfect flying.

That was more or less German Army Pilots every day routine.
The Bo105 was used as an anti-tank helicopter an they had to practice in the German woodlands to destroy sovjet tanks in case they would've come.
At the end of my service I got a 2,5h flight at night including provisional airfield approaches and low level passes along the runway at 100 knots
