(cant tell if thats sarcasm so) its not about pulling away from the union yet. Its just a warning for them to back off on the things of which it tries to do that infringe on the rights of the state as granted by the constitution. Wasn't it the federal branch with nixon and reagan that are responsible for the current drug war? They overstepped the constitution there too and must be put in check before we can truly change the marijuana law. 32 states would be hard to ignore.

Nope, many people believe that the federal government is overstepping its power..
And one of the major issues is marijuana laws..
In my understanding, the confederates were about fighting federalism..
Though we may not be TRYING to pull away from the union..It still would make a decent symbol, since were fighting the POWER of federalism :)
But the ignorance of it being PURELY racism, would probably make it a poor marketing symbol...

Ya, I just didn't know for sure because of the ... Those often are sarcastic but I agree with you on the symbolism if so many didn't see that flag as racist.
