  • Me and my grandma used to listen to them in the car all the time

  • Heard them on CBC radio here in Germany last night. Great!

  • Just heard these gal's,for the 1st time on the Vinyl cafe, yesterday.

    Great stuff!

  • Real women singing a real song! I'm in love, too!

  • I´m in Love.

  • such cuties! my new favorite song.

  • Bad synchronization on this up, which is a pity. These gals are as talented, warm, fun, and gracious live as they look and sound here - actually, moreso. Our planet desperately needs more lovelies.

  • Saw them last night at the california world music festival! Awesome

  • they must be Canadian, there seems to be this trend for groups of three women to use the Be Good Tanya's in both name and music as some sort of model: ie. The Wailin' Jenny's and now The Good Lovlies.....who's next?

  • @bluesintheblood even dressing in a retro pin up girl fashion....

music is nice, but let's get a bit more original please in the names....

  • they're so adorable! lovely music as well, perfect for summer weather

  • I saw them on Saturday at the Evolution Festival at they were just fucking amazing :D

  • Love these ladies. First time I heard them was on Mamma Yamma's kid's show on CBC. Even when they sing about pancakes, they're amazing.

  • Saw and met the Good Lovlies in the Leith Folk Club in Edinburgh last night, awesome sounds. Definately going places! let the rain fall is a great album, definately recommended. ( Ali with the mohawk)

  • Their Canadian right?

  • @blkaladdin

    100% Canadian!

  • @afroflix that's what I thought. I live in Washington state & we get the CBC here & saw them on there.

  • I can tell you all here that these Lovelies are exactly the same in person as they appear. Funny, charming, talented, genuine - just brilliant. I had the amazing good fortune to spend a few short minutes with them as they munched down on one my pizzas at the Fairbridge Festival. I have never seen performers connect so well with their audience; everyone wanted to be their new best friends.

  • These three lovely ladies have just stolen the show (and quite a few hearts) at the National Folk Festival in Canberra, Australia.

Such beautiful harmonies that are reminiscent of the Andrews Sisters of all people.

They did beautiful rendtions of Be Happy and Hallelujah, for which I was most upset that I ran out of room on my phone to record.

And isn't this a great clip?

  • Warning - This song is a SERIOUS earworm - you'll never get it out of your head! The Good Lovelies are undoubtedly Canada's loveliest lasses!

  • All girls should be like that!

  • Hey, does ANYONE know the chords for this song! If you do/can figure it out PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE lemme know! i love this song! and these girls! :)

    simply amazing!

  • Holy bovine, I just discovered these lovely ladies. Where have they been all my life? I really must pay more attention to the Junos (slaps forehead, gives himself a noogie).

  • Saw them at the Arc in Ann Arbor. It was a great time and was extremely pleased with them.

  • I love these girls!

  • I think I'm in love! Not sure which one yet, but I think I'm in love.

  • Attended a sold out performance by this group after watching these vids (wasn't familiar with them). This isn't a genre that I generally listen to, but hearing such well written songs performed LIVE on acoustic instruments with amazing three part harmonies and humorous banter? I immediately purchased both of their CD's after the first set (generally only purchase iTunes singles at this point). I thoroughly enjoyed every track on both CD's after the first listen. Talented. Funny. Lovely. :-)

  • Loved seeing these wonderful people in concert last Saturday night. They are sooooo talented!

  • very nice song

  • The second they start to sing, a big smile comes across my face. GREAT work ladies!

  • great song love the harmony

  • Looking forward to catching The Good Lovelies in Australia in April 2011. Canada always brings great fresh music to us which celebrates both the traditions of the past with the concerns of the present.

  • In the late 50s and well into the 60s, my 3 sisters, simply known as "Harmony" sang with the same kind of joy that's ever present on the faces of these girls in nearly every video. I never compare beauty with talent - but in all my travels around the world, I don't think I've ever seen a more genuine or stunning smile than Sue Passmore radiates. If she's this happy now, I can't begin to imagine her when the "big break" comes for this amazing trio...

  • Absolutely Amazing!! Love these girls! Their vocals and harmonies are flawless. Love the video - absolutely adorable!!

  • Wedding proposals must abound on a daily basis for these gals!

    Take a number!

  • I'm 13 years old and i first saw the good lovelies in Ottawa at the folk festival. Ever since then they have been my favourite female musicians of all time <3 i Love you guys :)

  • Catchy song, beautiful women, pleasant lyrics, this is good fun!!!

  • This song is adorable <3

  • Hi are the Good Lovlies still going and is Caroline still in the line up. Mark x

  • I LOVE THE GOOD LOVELIES!!!! They came to Dunnville and we want them to come back!

  • loved the ending!

  • Fantastic stuff. My first experience of these ladies. I hope to lie down with them even more!

  • I heard this song being performed as I drove in thru the gate at the Ossipee Valley Music Festival. By the time I parked and got over to the stage, the Good Lovbelies had finished their set and the next group was up singing. Sadly, that was their last appearance so had to content myself with buying their CD and then wearing it out. This song and many others just drips with creativity. It grabbed me big time!

  • Just watched the good lovelies in Winnipeg! Fantastic music!

  • This song is Love.

  • Congratulations on your Juno !!!!

  • Congrats on the Juno - Wicked Talent!!

  • Congrats on the Juno Win ladies! Canadian Talent ROCKS! :)

  • As a married guy with friends who just- don't-get-it; look for gals like this. Forget the bar stars and plasti-hos and get real with a real girl. If you can keep 'your end of the bargain' you won't be sorry.

  • The first girl is my cousin. Kerri Ough

  • The girl at 0:08 lives on my street!

  • This is a really nice tune!! Greetings from Norway:-) We like this kind of bluegrass You know!!

  • wonderful vocals, heard you on the CBC :)

  • Great tune!

  • they are fantastic in concert but this video is terrible... does not do them justice, if they want to make it big they have to plan way better videos than this.

  • I actually like girlbands (I'm a big fan of Katzenjammer) but this is too much! It's just too girly and inane

  • Great!

  • This is real Music ! I love this tune it is so catchy. It is my favorite new tune.

  • Well now!! That's so cool!!
