If you ever lived through a hurricane or any natural disaster or had a reduction in income you would understand how important stockpiling is. Many ppl knock it saying it's being greedy etc. Its not when a family is working with a budget, or is budgeting to pay cash for a large purchase like a car or house (smartest thing to do). To me it makes more sense then running up another credit card or paying thousands in loan interest rates.
