Yeesh Lance doesn't even use Dragonite in round 2. He doesn't even keep Dragonair. It's just a random mix of Pokemon such as Arcanine, Snorlax, and Electabuzz. It's sad and pathetic.

I love how ice isn't reduced on fire so it's super effective on Charizard in this game.

Gen 1 only has 3 dragons and Gen 2 only has 1 so with 4 all together, Lance can't fill a team normally so he uses dragon-like Pokemon (Though it doesn't explain Snorlax, Electabuzz, Arcanine, Kangaskhan, etc...)

Ray, you faced him a second time in HG/SS, his team is pretty kick ass except the Dragonite which thinks killing it's SP ATK is awesome.

@MageKnight404 Why? The actually became a challenge that way. Great place to grind for Red. Unless you do the Explosion + Revive Strategy I did for Red.

Once I got all 16 badges, I didn't feel like grinding solely for Red anymore, so I stopped playing.

@MageKnight404 get a shyninja and give it toxic, wil-o-wisp and sunny day, that destroies his team becacuse only snorlax and chrazard can hurt shyninja it's kind of a slow way to do it, but it worked if you can take out chazard (which kills itself by fire blitz) and if you cam posion snorlax your set. Use sunny day to stop the hail from killing shyninja and just posion them and burn venasaur. Slow but effective.
