  • lol why are you worried about people sending you home brew? do you think some of the AG fanatics might be trying to bump you off?

  • Never mind lol. Ferret.

  • ...What's in that cage?

  • hi craig .... in one of your videos , you mentioned about the store " complete home brewing" ... i went there today ...they were very good ... i met the son ... i didn't buy anything today , but told him ... i'll be back .... thanks for tip

  • yo craig if you drop your mailing address i'll send you some ontario craft brews read about ontario craft brewing amazing beers here

  • @horrorbusiness420 Cool. Send me a personal message and I'll connect with you there. Cheers!

  • @horrorbusiness420 send him cremore springs

  • Craig AG Tube.. GETTERRR-DONE ! ...TSA.... not from you know who.... your AG ready to brew, you know more then basic brewing from a can, extract and mini mash. i'd go AG brewing in 10gal batches, ur cost will not dbl'ed and with a few oz's of different grains, hops or yeast you'll have 2 different 5gal beers. i'd recommend not buying equipment for 5gal AG brewing and spend a few more $ and get a 10gal set up.. i wish i would have, 10gal batch only take a little more time and $....... BREW ON !

  • Get yourself a cheap mash tun. You can make one with a couple of buckets and some insulation material. Any questions, give me a ring.

  • As the saying go's, NEVER work with children or animals, or was it woman and animals, I forget., Nice vids mate, Cheers

  • Any chance you can do a vid on how to change a tweeter. Hope your well.

  • @thegentlearts I could I guess. It's pretty easy. You take the old one out, and replace it with a matching unit. You put the wires in the same place. They usually just slide on and off the terminals. Cheers!

  • Cool review, cool pull-over and cool beer.... I'm also a big lager fan.

  • you are legendary

  • after bottling the beer, how long should I wait till I can drink it.. The longer the better no doubt.. any advise would be good....

  • @benlyons83 You can drink it any time, but it won't taste that great until about two weeks.

  • craig are you building you own mash tun and boiler? would be a great vid.

  • Ferrets are so cute! I had one a few years back and he was awesome!

  • I sometimes feel the same way about my cats.

  • Good video Craig. One tip for the end there, never use straight Dextrose. I never do these days, as I find you get a much better result. You can get the mixed sugars like Brew Enhancer Two from Coopers, which has a mix of dextrose and other sugars. Probably this should be a rule I think.

  • Dear Craig, Very excited for All-grain videos. Still just getting started but excited to watch you try it. Love the videos! keep making more..

  • Thanks Craig,

Thanks the for great tip..I am finding that the art of brewing is so diverse with all the ways to make great beer and wine. I will let you know how that cooling and warming>> works!!

Well its time to click some ads!!:) Dave

  • craig i love your videos

  • well Craig ... i like the way you perform ,,, you make a thing out of nothing ... wish u best

  • love the cage banging craig, have not done my spiced dark ale yet still waiting on the hops to arrive, also thinking of doing an ale useing honey instead of dextrose, any hints??

  • @rockr01 use pasteurized honey. Have fun. That's all I can think of. :)

  • Hi Craig,

Great video...I just bottled a dark beer my first home brew!! >>from coopers...

Generally how long should I age the beer to get the best results?

Oh by the way I used dark brown sugar. Wail battling tried a taste I think its going to be real good. Thanks Dave

  • @tgtshirts1 You can start trying it in a week, but really, a month from now it will be much better. Hint: Put an aged bottle in the fridge over night, then take it out and let it warm to room temp. Then put it back in the fridge to cool again. I do this with my kegs and it really produces a great mouth feel and head.

  • craig, how bout another craigs kitchen

  • @Nfordmann I've got one planned soon. My family can't get enough of this dish. Plus, more soups and stews for the winter months. MMMM!

  • TSA would like the head on that IPA. Good luck on the all grain

  • @RetroMick I doubt it. It's a Cooper's head. LOL. We all really need to forget about that knob and unsub from his tabloid channel. Most of us haven't been there in a couple of weeks or more. As I've said before; TSA who??

  • @CraigTube You should make and offer for he's all grain brew stuff. Because he not going to use it any more.

  • great video craig! love the ferrets too!!!

  • Duh Duh Dhuuuuuun! All grain is nigh! I am excited Craig, don't keep us waiting too long.

  • I'm going to taste my Euro Lager from PEI tomorrow. Can't wait!

  • Great video Craig, it's about that time of the year where I get back into making more homebrew as well. Summer is just too busy it seems. I also wanted to say I really enjoyed watching both parts of your Consciousness and Dimensions videos, very interesting and intriguing. I'll be getting back into perfecting my Cooper's IPA kit again, with some additional centennial hops, mmmmhmmm. Winter in Maine is complete, with empty homebrew bottles at my feet, Cheers!

  • Solid video again craig.......I can see your friend TSA has struck again on the thumbs down lol. Speaking of ferrets did you get a look at TSA's wife?.......................YIKES.

  • Ferrets BBQ Yum . ( joking ) Ha Ha . Looks like they drink his beer. Thanks

  • Beer looks amazing! Us Maritimers make some good beer :)

Craig makes a good point - I also try to get a kit done every 2 weeks or so - canned kits provide a great way to make quality beer fairly quick at a reasonable price. Great looking beer! Cheers

  • an IPA with Ale AND Lager Elements? Didn't know it could be achieved, cheers!

  • Craigtube hoody! That is sooooooooo cool!

  • You do a whole 5 gallon brew every 12 days? Holy crap!

  • Great vid man. Always love to watch and listen my friend...

  • Glad you liked 'em Craig! The lager was aged for about three months, and the IPA just a little under a month. It's funny how different people have so difference preferences when it comes to beer. :) I still have a ton of the lagers left but the IPA's are almost all gone! I like the really hoppy in your face beers.

    Cheers!

  • What beautiful babies, ahhh. Great job PEI! You're totally right Craig; even though I make all-grain, I still make kit beers too and experiment with all of it. It's all good, it's all fun, and plenty of room to grow and learn at every facet. I'd love to send you guys some of my beer, but I'm too scared to send beer across the border. Bummer. Anyhoo, Cheers my friend!!

  • @steeljan I sent one to Craig. Just label it 'Glass Ornament", or something to that effect. It will get through.

  • what'd you say...I'm totally distracted by whats moving around in the cage!! LOL

  • Thanks Craig for teaching us so much about making home brew.

  • @ 13:20 yes! really lookin forward to it!

  • Finally got to see the review on the long awaited Euro Lager. I could almost taste it with the way you were talking about it.

  • I squirted coffee out of my nose at the corny, "oh, hello there!' intro! Love your videos, Craig!

  • Craig, you shouldn't frost the glass. This is why you get all the foam when you pour. Just a tip :)

  • @kramercanify The beer had a good dose of carbonation. I used one and a half Coopers carbonation drops for the 500ml bottle. The beer wasn't over carbonated, but the levels were pretty high. To squash any "cheating head" comments I am sure another individual will make, I get as good of head retention from my lesser carbed 1litre bottles.

  • Homebrewers unite. Great video. PEI is Canadian? Cooler temps where he is at? Or temperature controlled fermenting? Got to try a lager now. Both are Coopers?

  • @faroutadventures Yep, Canadian. PEI is Canada's smallest Province. :) I used a wet towel and bin filled with water and iced bottles for "temp control". I made the Lager before summer hit.

  • @PeiHomeBrewer Both of those beers were Coopers? I've done homebrew Coopers and have had commercially made Coopers. Both are fine, excellent beer. To me, all grain is all hype. It is fun too try, but I agree with Craig, I would not do it 100% of the time. Too many options with extract and partial extract brews. You can get eqaul quality , no matter which way you brew.

  • @faroutadventures Yeah, they were both Cooper's.

  • @PeiHomeBrewer What kind of temps did you hit? 60* F? Winter is upon us here in Washington State. I'd like to try a lager. Seems like a little bit more aging involved vs. ales. Cheers mate. Great looking beers.

  • @faroutadventures It was about 60f. And yeah, Coopers recommends 3 months ageing (in the fridge) for this beer. If you had a proper lagering set up, the cold ageing in a carboy would probably be better.

  • Whats ''Kit&Liko''??

  • @djscalo I'm guessing "kit & kilo" means the can of malt extract plus the kilogram of sugar that's normally added to it. I'm guessing.

  • @uglybob6666 thats makes sense , cheers mate!
