Yet an another addictive vocal line from Jonas - this is right up their with the best of his work even though this is just some sort of demo song... I don't know any other singer that hypnotises me both with lyrics and vocal style like Jonas,,, (I am 100% heterosexual male)

@JMS06723 That's wrong... it's "Ashen" which is the special song - not "Sold Heart", you got Sold Heart only on the 'The Longest Year EP' & on the Re-released 2011 Edition of 'Night is the New Day' - but the original Sweden Edition from 2009 hasn't this song on it ;)

Beautiful. Haunting. The new album is a huge step up from TGCD. Not quite matching their pinacle effort (in my opinion Viva Emptiness) I saw them once during a Great cold distance tour, I'm excited to see them again with new material. Still the best band in existance.

@krazefool Totally agree with you. Tonights music is a song I save for only my lowest points, and it's like Jonas knows that things can always get worse. Beautiful band, incredibly emotional music, nothing captures any human emotion as well as Katatonia does. Props to Novembre for starting to follow in their footsteps a bit too.
