I really like the how you juxtapose such wry, cynical lyrics with such a glib and upbeat arrangement. It's very becoming to the ironic tone you seemed to be aiming for. I think with a more wistful tune it would've waxed self-indulgent, but this is perfect. Good choice! Also, your playing sounds very polished in this.
