You can always tell by the part of there hair :3 its like a curtain. Hikaru normally starts a sentence so he on the left and Kaoru finishes it so hes on the right. (i think, i cant remember completly..)

there's a trick...in one of the volumes of the manga it said hikaru parts his hair one way and kaoru the other, hikaru is always on the left(?)... whether that applies to this, i don't know though... XP
