Both of them are magic and even if Baryshnikov was 61 when I saw them in Rome, you couldn't stop looking at the quality of his movement and the charisma of his dancing.
Ana Laguna has the same allure of Meryl Streep. Old, not beautiful, but what a woman!!!
At the end the public tributed enthusiastic cheers and standing ovation.
@Merrywife2 l am not surprised public used to tribute standing ovation at nureyev when was no longer able to dance without being pathetic or to fracci nearly 70 ,and belived dear friend l saw and loved them so much at their time,what about teaching what these remarkable artist would be able to teach to younger generation due their superb training and experience?as did messerer or chabukiani or sergeyev when no longer could dance due age?
@Merrywife2 vede ,ho visto che e' italiana,ci mancherebbe altro che un artista di danza del calibro di micha non fosse in grado di imbastire ancora una serata dignitosa in qualche modo,quello che a me fa male e'vedere le vestigia di uno dei piu'stupefacenti danzatori di tutti i tempi impegnato in uno spettacolo oggettivamente bruttino e di cui nessuno sentirebbe la mancanza,ma evidentemente il palcoscenico e' per loro irrinunciabile,forse e' capibile ma......

By the way Ruz DQ had a horrible outcome in Japan, also. Some of great dancers are awfully selfish!
